I need some help. I recently bought a used copy of the original Sims(minus the expansion packs). I get the game installed without any problems and when I try to play, I get a error saying, "The Sims has stopped working...". I've set the compatibility to Windows XP(Service Pack 2), check Disable Visual Themes and Disable Desktop Composition and Run as Administrator and I still get this message. I am at my wits end with this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
