Are you asking about a new game or a port of the older ones? I think the series did really well for an eShop game. They made 4 games! I can definitely see them making another one for the Switch. We might have to wait until they're finished with Fire Emblem though (it's the same developer).

The last Layton game for 3ds is coming to Switch so it’s possible

It'd be nice, but they'd have to rework sharing puzzles. QR codes were super convenient.

i genuinely think the franchise is here to stay. they really went all in during the 3ds/wii u era with the series and i don't think it's to keep it secluded for it.

weren't there also rumors that a stretchmo world was in the works for wii u until the pulled the plug from under it?

anyways, my personal opinion is that the games will get sequels on the switch.

There's a camera in the joy con if they want to stick to QR codes. They could also implement level sharing into the Switch Online mobile app.

Pushmo is pretty great, it should come to Switch.
