With the loads and loads of games they published to DS, PSP and 3DS?

Notice how the Switch has gotten nothing from them but a SMTV trailer?
And supposedly a Persona 5 port if the leaks are to be believed.

I can’t be the only one who realises the company that was once considered by some what 90s Squaresoft used to be is now turning into post-PS2 era Square-Enix. Persona is their Final Fantasy now, mainline SMT their Dragon Quest. And we’re lucky they’re releasing any titles since P5 that aren’t a spinoff of Persona now. A Catherine remake and EO... what else?

Did Sega force them to quit releasing stand alone RPGs and focus only on Persona and SMT or something? Because it feels like they changed since the acquistion despite everyone thinking that would give them more budget.

Seriously their PS4 support is a joke compared to their PS1-3 days. And their Switch support is a bigger joke compared to their DS/3DS support. It’s Switch’s third year. Being too soon is no excuse anymore.

.

First off stupid question, secondly Sega has nothing to do with what atlus does with their franchises, why, because they are both owned a parent company needs Sammy, if anything aquring Atlus influcned Sega to do better in game development and to make sure they don't release broken games anymore. Atlus and sega may be part of the same parent company but the both work seperately, meaning sega has no control over what atlus does and vice versa, what atlus does is their cjoice and thier choice alone, seriously do some some research for a change

id totally blame sega on this one Atlus hasn't really been the same company since then. their not like awful or anything but IDC for their stuff half as much anymore.

PS2 era was fun DS SMT3 DDS Persona 3/4 were great. even PSP support was pretty solid with the personas. hell they even tried that weird crossover game on the wii U. this gen we have... SMT5... eventually...

their 3ds support was intresting cause at the start they did EO and the devil survivor port in the middle they went super ham and right at the end holy crap.

switch just seams like their trying to do SMT5 and uh we will see past that really. hopefully they reuse the engine/assets a few times for other games.

In a day and age where games with graphics worse than NES and budget lower than Etrian Odyssey are praised and can sell well nothing is forcing them to only make bigger budget projects. Nothing but themselves.

actually, looks like atlus pretty reliably makes around 4 games a year, every year, for the last decade.

They...just happen to have released one game this year so far, and have 3 announced

so...there you go.

All I remember was having a vendetta against Atlus for never releasing their games outside of NA.
