But it still doesn't make any sense. Why would they buy a game, dump it and then sell it for a loss when they can just go online and download it?

First of all, who said anything about buying a new game just to sell it at a loss? They could just return it. They could just rent it. That could have been their personal copy that they just didn't want anymore and sold used, but still dumped it.

And I already gave several reasons why multiple dumps would exist.

Why would they go through the time to dump it when they can just download it?

Someone has to dump it before it can be downloaded.

And again, I gave you reasons why multiple people would be doing it.

This is a far smaller issue. People who make pirate carts probably make thousands. Only a single-digit number of real carts will be dumped and shared enough to get banned.

.... nobody is making pirate Switch carts though. That's not a thing.

Truely a small number of people are impacted by this. Prove otherwise besides bold unsubstantiated claims.

Prove a small number are impacted, besides just you whining that it's a small number.

LoL. I am going to take a note of this method you got, asking for proof back :p.

You can't provide a written proof to people who lack reading comprehension, so debates i have had on this board ended with me being unable to prove my argument. Because the person can't comprehend the proof. LMAO.

Its a bulls*** argument made by thieves. This is why it can't be proven. You're also assuming Nintendo doesn't fix situations of innocent people.

Some people read news and see the positive parts of it. Some people read the news and see negatives.
The fact is, both will be right. This, is fact.

The statistics of how many were right and how many were wrong may never be known, simply because the companies keeps it close to heart. When you ask for this unknown number knowing that companies don't release this number, while calling people who disagrees with your view, thieves, it shows your bias.

Keep your positive view, listen to people's negative take, and see what happens. Why beat down people who disagrees with you? They may have their own personal/knowledge background that you dont.

It is for pretty much every other cart-based system (GBA, DS, etc), if it hasn't happened for Switch yet, it will.

Wouldn't be feasible due to the encryption, it would only happen by the time the Switch is pretty much a dead console and replaced by it's successor. Meaning the threat of bad cartridges people were talking about purely stems from legitimate ones which were dumped.

Good old printers : you connect via USB, you print.
New high tech printers : You swipe in, it contacts 3 servers. The login server to connect online. The account server to verify the user. The print server to verify printing balance. The printer could connect online, but if one of the other two servers are down, it may not print. Its stupid, and you are left trying to figure out why things aren't printing, and no message is shown.

Wth is that? I remember printers being printers, and I'm with you on that with the handshake stuff.

In the case of my vita, i am scared that when their vita psn closes, that would be it for my games. Having digital games backed up on memory card means nothing if they have to handshake some database that is prone to corruption. Thats why i stopped buying digital games now. And for itunes...i bought a new mp3 player that is drag and drop without these protectionist crap. Screw apple ipod. A chinese 30 dollar mp3 player will play for 40 hours, expandable with memory cards and i can drag and drop my songs.

I'm all digital on the vita too and that is a concern, and dam right you should ditch that stupid ipod, i haven't used itunes in ages.

All i can say is buy physical whenever you can.

Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it isn't true.
