"guns, soldiers, gang members and redknecks"

You know Americans have issues when this is what they consider "americanized".

The fact that it isn't Americanized like that is one of the main reasons I've stuck with Nintendo since the NES.

As would be the answer for most of us longterm Nintendo fans. But I feel many of the Switch owners aren't necessarily longterm Nintendo fans.

Same thing could also be said for the Wii, but I don't feel like Nintendo stopped being what it was at it's core.

All the shooters and western style RPG's are a big part of what's considered Americanized games, if not the main part of it. Which is funny considering those are the types of games I don't like.

More games with guns, soldiers, gang members and redknecks rather than happy and colorful Japanese style games?

You mean games like Rogue Trooper and Immortal Redneck?
I love coffee, gaming and sarcasm.

The only thing that I want Americanized is the online and interface and stuff. Sony had the right idea, imo, by outsourcing that to the west. Japan's culture towards online is just so wildly different. (For example, friend codes were seen much more positive there)

Umm ok. America seem only to want to help us become a powerhouse of the world but if you say so!

This sounds like a child’s interpretation of what Americana is.

It's a fairly accurate depiction but it's just missing the part about the self-righteous pricks that think they own everything and everything is owed to them.
