Indies are small appetizers/snacks between big releases. Can't live off those

Certainly not all of them. Things like Binding of Isaac, Enter the Gungeon, or Has-Been Heroes can easily last longer than most AAA games.

To say nothing of juggernauts like Stardew Valley and, ahem, Minecraft.

Or the numerous new RPGs like Shadowrun Returns and Pillars of Eternity, which are, if not indie, only just on the other side of the line.

I didn't buy a $400 console to play overpriced Flash games that are usually free elsewhere.

I find the majority of indie games to be trash, but the odd one is really good.

Why is a game is $5 on android but $15 on Switch?

I think it's worth the extra for controller support and the convenience of the method of playing on tv.

Most indie devs may not have the budget, but they do have heart.

Think of it as a compensational compromise.

Divinity: Original Sin 1 & 2 are both great RPGs that are indie and fairly lengthy. Needless to say, there are loads of examples.

The main difference between AAA and indie is their budget.

Dime a dozen low effort mass produced trash. A few are good but i didnt buy an expensive console for them.
FFX is the best game of all time. The only good Nintendo franchises are Pokemon and Fire Emblem. Comics are for kids. https://i.imgur.com/LJ3WSyB.gif Reylo Ship

yep I love a bag of chips or candy bar every once in a while but I need a full course meal with all the dressings to fill me up in the long run.
