I’ll hold out and see if it works its way to Switch. If not, I can eventually get it on PS4.

if it was coming to Switch, they would have clearly said it

or do you think Sega is playing hard to get?

Hopefully they're trolling, and will pull a last minute "Sonic Mania" on us, announcing a Switch version out of nowhere in the coming weeks, or so. If they don't...

Why does it seem worse then the last collection?

Don't get your hopes up

I could understand not getting a physical version for cart costs, but why not at least digital?

certainly doesn't have the advantage of being portable

On one hand, that kind of sucks.

On the other, that could be a sign Virtual Console is at least being considered. Nintendo didn't get Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection either. Which would still suck if you would rather just pay 50 bucks for a compilation, but w/e.

Then again, I don't recall Wii U getting Genesis VC, so maybe Sega is just being weird about putting these games on Nintendo for some dumb reason.

No I misread it, the list/games seem on par with the last collection though they don't list Sonic 3 + Knuckles

Since I’m not an insider nor have a source, I have no idea what’s being done. I’ll just do like I said: wait and see if it eventually comes to Switch and, if not, I’ll get it on PS4 if I really need it.
