I was getting sick of dealing with weird otakus that bragged about PSP, 3DS, and PS Vita because of how much more popular those were in Japan.

Switch is still more popular in Japan. You don't see 980 people lining up outside a retailer in North America just to have a chance at buying a Switch like what recently happened in Japan.

Only in Japan.

"Americanly"

We just love making up words as a country don't we. Especially when they're nationalistically-driven.

I've lived in the States and Japan. The way things are going on here in the States right now, I wouldn't mind living in Japan again.

The otakus will always be able to brag about the Japanese consoles. They will never be more popular than they are in Japan, despite the USA having three times its population.

uh that word is ancient. It can be replaced with just "American" 99% of the time, but still a word.

Switch is a Japanese console, not an American one.

Me too! But the moment that the 3DS goes out of production, Nintendo are doomed. The 3DS is the only thing keeping them out of bankruptsy.

I am not saying TC isn't being dumb; however, it still perturbs me a bit that so many people make nationalism out to be some horrible thing. It can be a bad thing when taken to and extreme, like anything else; however, I am all for every country doing its own thing and being different.

Also, you do realize that Japan is one of the most racists/xenophobic countries there is. It is rare to actually experience them being racist to you because of how their culture is very much about not being confrontational and avoiding conflict.
