Why would people want an online only game on Nintendo? Probably should question their online ability first.

Overwatch gets pretty boring fast... Basically cartoon version of Call of Duty.

yeh because one game counts as having lots of 3rd party supp oh wait...

besides lots of MH in the recent years have been exclusive to nintendo consoles

because you can thank Sony for driving Monster Hunter away

True, but one comparison of the original Breath of the Wild reveal and its' finished state will tell you that even Nintendo is aware that the Switch has major limitations

That has nothing to do with the Switch's limitations. Almost every developer does that. See basically any E3 teaser trailer ever.

You're also comparing a big open-world game to a multiplayer shooter.

My post addresses much more than just 'it looks different from the reveal,' though

The Switch has the processing power of a lower-end pc or a higher-end gaming tablet. I never said it couldn't handle Overwatch

But the issues that people give Nintendo a pass for (spotty network support, noticeable framerate drops in BotW, texture and texture popin issues) are the entirety of the Overwatch experience. What's purely technical in most current Switch games would make-or-break a shooter that already has clientside server issues and heavily-criticized favor-the-shooter mechanics

And I also stand by my point that the Overwatch PC community would have a collective freakout. You guys think Sony fans are bad? The PC fanbase would literally boycott Overwatch. They already threw a fit when PS4 and XB1 users were finally given their own battle.net subforum after months of Blizzard saying 'nope'.

This is a group that thinks what's killing the game on PC is a community that is allowed zero contact with them

It's a shame but not at all surprising.

Who cares?
If you want Overwatch, get a PS4.
I find it's ok, but it's also another online whine fest and little else.
Personally I find Splatoon on Wii U better, let alone the Switch version.
Oh, you actually read this bit?

With the specs it has, it's definitely capable of playing overwatch. The game isn't very demanding at all, you could play the game with intel integrated graphics that range from 100-500 gflops. Heck, isn't this game available on the PS3 and Xbox 360? It's not going to be at the same level as the PS4 or high end pc of course.

But it's not a matter of hardware, more so about money and how it would work with the switch eco-system.
To be or not to be, William Shakespeare sucks.

This topic probably should have just read:

"We don't want to downgrade our game to be able to run poorly on the Switch" says every 3rd party publisher.
Currently Playing: Stardew Valley(XB1), CoD: IW (XB1), Forza Horizon 3

I am going to be that person: you want overwatch get a PC. It looks gorgeous on actual 4K 60+ fps maxed out settings, so much better to look at. Also no random nerfs to non issue characters like torb and symmetra turrets due to aim limitations.
