On an Ex2PG run people have come to accept the fact that they have to compromise on 2 areas. The first is item count: you get max. equippable + 1 copies instead of 99 of every missable item. The second is you don't take advantage of the Marcus/Eiko glitch to truly max her stats out. But now with boosters you have sooo much extra time on your hands. Does anyone know if there is enough time to fulfill one or both of these as part of an Ex2PG run thanks to the use of boosters?
About the items, some new "choice" is introduced, mostly with items used in synthesis where you may need to choose between having extra copies of one or the other. But even if you can get 99 copies of item A and 99 of item B but not both at the same time, there is still a maximal amount of them (say, 99 air rackets and 1 priest's racket, or 98 and 2 to fulfill the typical "maximum equippable +1" rule). Things only get messy with stuff like Mythril Vests and Brave Suits, where 99/0 is technically the perfect amount, since that can be turned into any of the other maximal amounts (kinda like the Hammer can be turned into the Tin Can but not the other way around, so the Hammer is technically the "more perfect" option), but it feels wrong to have 0 copies of an item and call it "perfect", plus it's the best armor for Zidane and Amarant and you're giving it up for no good reason, really (unlike the Hammer, there is literally no use for any of the vests past the 7th). So probably 97/2 or even 96/3 are preferrable.
But these are just details. First, I wanna know if this is possible or whether it has been looked into before.
