The President of the United States is allowed to defend America's borders.

When will people grasp that simple concept?

They do, that's the problem. What they don't understand is that things don't just magically bend to their will like they do in their post-modernist imaginations of simply believing something is a certain way to make it true.

I don't think they are grasping the concept at all.

They hear that Trump wants to build a wall, and they immediately start claiming he's racist, a Nazi, building "concentration camps" etc.

Like he simply isn't allowed to prevent anyone from walking into this country illegally.

That he's some kind of monster that wants to divide and destroy this world.

I'm afraid you're the one who doesn't get it. Ever notice how they constantly use the word "dogwhistle" to describe Trump's language? The hard left (not left in general) is very bad at hiding what they actually think, 'cause they project so damn hard. Take "trans rights" for example. They're intentionally conflating trans-sexual and trans-gender, by painting trangs-gender as trans-sexuals (meanwhile, TERFs do the opposite). But notice that the average person doesn't know the distinction between the terms? Why, that also helps them conflate the issue to the average person. And how does it manifest? Well, they redefined the term. Most of this comes from the Frankfurt school of thought, which came from the communists who were so far out of their tree, they managed to loose their elections to the Nazis, including Hitler. Remember, Nazis were socialists, and the Cristchurch shooter even identified himself as a nice lefty-socialist. "Nazi" is code for "anyone who is not far left." The way dogwhistles work is that they have totally different meanings for dogs and humans. They hear "political opponent, throw as many hitler comparisons at him as you can," while we hear "he's hitler." Similarly, "racist" means "political opponent whom we can convince others into believing is a bigot," while to us it actually has a specific meaning. Meanwhile, these dogwhistles are pretty good at getting us to shut up about what we're actually talking about, which is actually what they want. If we're busy proving we're not racists, it doesn't really matter if we win that or not, 'cause they managed to get us to stop talking about something they don't like.

Notice Trump doesn't bother with deflecting the ad hominems? We actually had concentraition camps in the US during WWII, when a democrate was president. Do you think the far left, who supports democrats, doesn't know that?

Now, Trump the divider is code for "we lost alot of our party members when Trump ran, 'cause they switched tickets to vote for him in the primary" and "he's calling our bluffs, pointing out problems in our own tribes, forcing schisms like the Stonewall-LGB Alliance divide."

Now, of course, not all the far lefties, let alone lefties, actually know the dog whistles. Alot of them genuinely don't even believe the issues they say they support. Take for example how the illegals are hurt by the journey, and how the lack of a wall allows their countries' "offices of emmigration" lie to the people and put them on these saddistic human trafficing operations, that usually don't actually lead to their freedom in the states.

I remember talking to a guy in slovenia, and he apparently had some influence, but said he was opposed to nepotism, but admitted that he had connections in the family. I know from the occupation he had, which i won't disclose, he definitely had connections. We communicated simply 'cause we had similar coding interests (we were developing an OS kernel together entirely in x86 assembly). One of the things that came up was he had this joke about a "muslim instruction," which was "mov al, ah" (which allowed you to swap the bytes of the AX register). So i noticed there was a "floating point compare to integer" instruction, which was "fucomi" which i then joked with him was "f*** you, commie." That was when i found out he was a communist, but he didn't take offence to it. Eventually, we were talking about things like "global warming," and i found it interesting that he agreed with me that it made sense that since CO2 has a higher mass than H2O, it's ability to 'cause the greenhouse effect outside of a city (where it is super saturated) was pretty low. He said, however, that he supported global warming claims, because it agreed with his theory that CO2 concentraitions were what caused crime in metropolitan areas. Telling him he should be honest didn't exactly work, but I learned at that point the way affluential politics work: the proles don't understand, so we have to lie to them to make them agree. Remember, the affluent believe they are higher on the totem pool because they're better, and know better, and politics is about running everyone else's lives. Now, the republicans should suddenly make a bit more sense, especially regarding why they don't like Trump.

Indeed, and the supply of new -isms/phobias will only continue to exponentially grow over time; many new such made-up -isms for example are being conceived as we speak to be unleashed on the masses of tomorrow.

Newspeak, speech intentionally created with the aim to condition and control thought, action and to help keep the dangerous Thoughtcrime at bay so not only do those pesky masses don't get in the way of the allegedly "greater good", but actually become agents of it's enforcement.

And it's important to note that certain words and phrases are banned, which means a smaller dictionary like in the book, contrary to the isms and such would like you to believe.

I just don't think it's wise to make time dependent things, especially bigger things. It's not going to age nearly as well as something a little more universal. One should aim at virtues or philosophy, not contemporary politics.

See, that's the thing. Should we know a dev's stance? Should we be held accountable to the devs for our decisions in a game, or should we be held accountable to ourselves for our positions?

I love how Kojima had mute naked woman roll in water for your entertainment in MGS V, but suddenly now he’s a feminist. The president is a woman and you as a man are a nobody who performs mundane tasks and carry a fetus.

Seems like Mr. kojima is trying the woke route to please his Hollywood masters as he is clearly trying to become a movie producer.

He was trying to get all his favorite female actresses to do parts for him, it's not that surprising I know this joke is poor tastes but Harvey Weinstein says he's a feminist too.

The real Kojima still loves half naked women rolling in rain I'm sure.
