Ok, I managed to get by in level 5 and 6. I hope I don't have to get the rings to finish the games, but I can't seem to stay airborne long enough to get those rings that round corners. I've heard that I have to "do a perfect turn" but I still don't get it. I've only managed to do it by accident. Can anyone explain how they do this? Seems like I drop down automatically when I try to do a turn in the air.
That's me finishing chapter 6 but you can see that I miss those rings that round corners.
Any help is much appreciated. I know the sound you mean. Trouble for me is I don't know how to execute the turns to stay airborne. In the vid, you see I do it a few times but sometimes I drop back down before getting the second set of rings. So I'm obviously doing something wrong with the controls.
I guess one way I can put it is to turn at the last possible moment. If you fall to the ground, you turned too early. If you take damage, you turned too late. You have to find that sweetspot; it's a small window.
As for the controls, when you're flying, you only need to hold X, you don't have to hold Up. So, when you turn, you just steer left or right while continuing to hold X.
Games made by big name studios are the only ones that can be worth $60 and indie games, no matter how good they are, are not worth $60 - DifferentialEquation
