  3. Why even use a mic if you're not going to help strategize the team with it?

It happens all the time to me. I'll be chatting, seeing that three or four people are on mic, but everyone is dead silent. I get a bit frustrated and say "is anyone on mic? I could use some heals please" (or whatever the request is), and get nothing until the game over screen, when suddenly two people pipe up saying "stop being toxic," "you suck," or whatever. Makes absolutely no sense to me.

This.
Why bother even using mics if when you TRY to play and communicate nobody replies anyway and still cowboys on their own like its cod...then they actually talk at the end to complain about lack of teamwork. This is why I no longer bother using mic on QP or MH and on comp its a private party with my team. Good randoms can communicate using in game tools anyway and everybody else just ignores us anyway so yeah
Now playing: Helldivers / Overwatch / Persona 4

worst is LFGs: "Must have mic or kick!".

Then you join, get in game and they are taking about pretty much everything EXCEPT the game.
So much nonsense in the voice chat I can't even call out discords and important information we need to win because they won't stop chatting like a bunch of little girls.

Yep. I came across this problem a few times in LFG. People in there would rather joke about how gay Tracer is or how someone would like to bend Mercy over while she's healing, etc instead of actually focusing on the game. =\ That's why my gripe with LFG parties is that people tend to not actively listen and just want to talk for the sake of talking.

Solo queuing can be absolute garbage too but at least I don't have to worry about the other team having a full coordinated 6 stack when I'm using LFG. =x

There are 2 ways to get ahead in life

Bring yourself up, or put other's down.

Some people Think they're doing the latter when they just s***talk with no justification, it's just to keep their self esteem defense, let them go, knowing that letting them say "You guys suck" and leaving makes them feel better, and don't let it affect you, when you know you didn't suck.

Person's probably got more issues going on and uses s*** talk in videogames as coping.

This here is very true. We all know how it is. People would rather blame the team rather than themselves. I do it in a more passive-aggressive way with voice lines for really hopeless teams where I know we'll lose no matter what. I'll pick Soldier and have him spam "You want something done right, you gotta do it yourself" or Winston's "How embarrassing" line. =D

I do use the mic though but I mostly give positive comments when I can. Like "Great hook Roadhog" and "Clutch Nano Boost there Ana". Usually comments like that makes people play better because they want to win with you more. It's not rocket science but people just don't think that way. Putting others down is so much easier.
If you make an intelligent post, people tend to ignore it because they only respond to stupid. Don't believe me? Just look at most of the chained replies.

I like to do the same with Tracer lines that match up perfectly like, "Eat my Cheeky" and "Looks like you need a Ho! Ho! Ho!"
