... or more specifically, my main party variations, which inevitably involves WoL. He's good and all, but as long as he's there, I'll always be using the same support units. Can anyone share interesting party comps with interesting tanks other than WoL and the usual suspects like EV, Basch and Wilhelm? The past few months have given us a tank unit in almost every banner and I'm dying to try them--Barusa, Gladiolus, even Sportive Ariana. And I do have many units that can fill WoL's debuff role: Loren, Ling, 9S, to name a few. PSN: moot_sg - Pawn:Zoot/Strider /Level 87 |

Can use enhanced Charlotte as a tank with Ling for support. |
Well if you need a physical cover tank go for gladio as he's an unenhanced warrior of light. If you need a provoke tank go for barusa. FFBE - 010 016 697 |

I had a lot of fun using Illusionist Nichol and building an evade tank like Soliel or Noctis. If you have Soliel, you can equip her with Iris's tmr the Moogle Plushie (using equip h shield from Charlotte) and make her Esper into Golem, then make her 100% evade. The plushie stacks with Golem's 70% 3 turn provoke to make a full draw evade unit with amazing buffs and utility. Formerly that one person who delivered pizzas. |

For some reason I found Charlotte's MP Regen fairly useful even though various other units also do it on a slightly better degree. Maybe because all she (ideally) has to do is cover, so there's less stress trying to decide if she should or not. |

Sportive Ariana is a cool tank. She has a 4 turn 30% damage cut. If you have Barusa TMR too, you can have a 3 turn rotation of Provoke, 30% damage cut, and 30% physical cut. Nice support for party and keeps single target stuff under control. FFBE - Friend ID 873,300,971 ~ McBomb |
