This topic piqued my interest, so, I took a look at the Reader reviews tab and spotted yours.

Read it. One passage in particular gave me pause and made me question your honesty a bit:
The fix is zooming the damn camera out and not having enemies that can actually attack from off camera.
This is shortly under the Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening screen showing the boss battle with Geryon. I'll have you know that Devil May Cry is my second favourite franchise. I earned S ranks in 1, 2 (Dante Disk only), double S ranks in 3, S ranks in 4 and 5, not to mention various platinum trophies.

So yeah, I'm not the best player, but I'm knowledgeable in my own right. I know that that damn action franchise, in spite of how good it is as a whole, is plagued by one of the most stupid things ever. Yes, I'm referring to the camera manipulation trick that makes it so in Devil May Cry lesser enemies off camera do not attack you; for some reason their A.I. takes a vacation and they decide to simply approach you. Those demons, so well-mannered and attention-seeking, it would seem… they attack you solely if you glance at them, if you have them under watch (what a twist on a kink).
That comes back to the small bit of your "review" I quoted, in particular, the part in bold text. I have to ask, in what world do you live in? Hypothetical scenario where you're pitted against six guys, you only have three of them in sight, should the remaining three refrain from attacking you simply because you didn't see them? I mean, that sounds kind of stupid. Also, it might be the stealth and strategic games fan in me talking (Metal Gear, Commandos, etcetera…), but I have a habit of carefully surveying an area, assess the situation and then plan my approach.
Oh, for the record, I conquered Bloodborne (base game+The Old Hunters DLC), I played enough of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and I also have 100% of trophies in Nioh and its DLC; you could say I've grown a fondness for the whole
I'll pound your ass and troll you until you figure out my pattern and weaknesses
penchant they're also known for, that said, I'd never dream to call enemies attacking off camera bad design, if anything, I'm going to exclaim something along the lines of: "About goddamn time this happened! What were you folks doing? Jerking/fingering yourselves while watching, without inviting me? I can't fault you for being in awe of my skills, but shame on you."
Jokes aside, Soulsborne games tend to drill into your head that you should learn from your mistakes, yeah, that big (or rather "small", if human) meanie off screen has got you, you'll soon be back from your death and you now know to watch for sneak attacks.
Currently busy with Nioh.
