Nice that they give us a Gible as part of the questline.
Talk is cheap...because supply exceeds demand.

I'm stuck on "catch a fighting type".

I never realized how awful Sinnoh was with fighting types. There's Infernapes and Gallade, both of which are evolved forms and unlikely to appear in the wild, and then there is Riolu....who counts as a baby Pokemon and DEFINITELY won't appear in the wild.

That leaves Croagunk as your only option, who hasn't appeared anywhere yet and isn't exactly common. Godammit. -_-

Try getting a ghost type... I've been stuck on that step for 3 hours...

Free Gible. This is not a drill.

The damn Fighting-type and Ghost-type tasks can f*** off, though. Was really hoping they'd get rid of them but I knew they wouldn't. I haven't started the questline yet but I'm already dreading those two.

I can’t find a ground type anywhere. I caught a hippo earlier but can’t find another one.

And 10 minutes later I find one.

You can look for Onix (3 great throws in a row), Larvitar (3 excellents in a row), and Stunfisk (3 buddy candies) tasks.
Also look for Ground or Rock (Larvitar) Rocket grunts.
If you haven't hit rank 4 in GBL this season, doing so grants you a Stunfisk, then it remains as an uncommon reward in the GBL pool.
If you stacked encounters from Hoenn's field research tasks, you probably have a Marshtomp in there.
Hippowdon is a T4 raid this week.
Magnetic Lure (stage 3 gives you one) has A-Diglett and Onix in its spawn pool.

And I'd be willing to bet that Hippopotas will become more common some time this week - the common spawns have been shifting throughout each week.
