  3. Seriously why is Gyarados 400 candies? It's not even *that* strong >_>

Why not just make it something reasonable? Now if I evolve a Gyarados and it has s***ty moves, I have to find 100 more magikarp just to try again. f*** that!

I like the idea of it. Catch 101 of these useless fish and feed all of them to the strongest one to turn it into a monster!

But magikarp is too rare for such a mechanic. It should literally be a constant spawn if your radar circle is over water. Just make him only give 1 XP per catch or something so people don't farm it.

It truly makes no sense. It's not even like Magikarp evolves late in the main games either. I feel like it's some type of cruel joke from the developers.

Idk I mean magikarp are the weakest Pokemon so it makes sense you would need a lot of them. Plus three stage Pokemon cost around 150 and wow I just realized it was 400 candies nvm should've been half that
If you believe in Jesus Christ and are 100% proud of it, put this in your sig.

That depends entirely on where you are. Magikarps are plentiful around lakes here in Minnesota.

Should be 100 candies. 400 is too much.

You can walk around my lake and catch 40 or so on a good day. But for all the others, this is a freakin nightmare.

They're taking the gimmick lore that Magikarp can evolve into something fantastic through lots of training too far.

I mean, is Gyarados even any good in Pokemon GO to be worth the hours of capturing Magikarp to evolve one?
