He kind of has a point. She's in a living nightmare with literal monsters. It's easy to say you'd help her but in reality... ya on ya own b****

Not really if you have powerful guns and you have to go that route anyways. Why not? You could die regardless.

There are times she puts herself in danger to save Sherry when she could have just ignored her and been outta there faster.

She's the hero of the story. It's a heroic thing to do.
"in the instruction booklet, jin is 19 and jun is 22. is this a typo, or is kazuya a sick bastard that likes 3 year olds?"

because she just isn't that kind of person. Just like how there was no cut scene involving Leon double tapping Branagh which lets you the player decide what to do.

Some people just wouldn’t be able to sleep at night if they abandoned a child to save themselves.

This is true. Truthfully if other people aren't bothered by not being able to save a child, I'd wonder if they were sociopaths.

From a purley logical standpoint, abandoning Sherry makes sense. But abandoning a defenseless child in an apocalyptic hellhole, especially when she is specifically being targeted? There's only one response a true human would ever have:

Makes sense. Shes in a hell hole. Finds a child, so she wants to help her escape.

Yeah but Leon has a more "I don't care" attitude toward Sherry and isn't all gung ho to fight monsters like Claire is, so does that make Leon an uncaring jerk or Claire an unrealistic protagonist?
