No this is a s***ty and bad idea topic creator, piss off with this bulls***, Alien Isolation did this where you could die while saving or right after a save was made. I love a lot of what Alien Isolation did except how you were still vulnerable when you went to save, it did add tension but not in a good way if you did a whole bunch and then got f***ed over as you saved it was infuriating.

I remember 2 times it said “no enemies around” yet right in the middle of saving the alien entered the room and insta killed me. Second time I was finishing the save and the alien dropped down and I lit it’s ass on fire, no damage to me but that s*** should not have happened.

RE tradition is there are safe rooms that should NEVER be changed, those rooms are few and far between but they need to exist and NOT be f***ed with for any reason.

For me these rooms with guarenteed respite are essential. The game sounds like it's going to be really intense, there has to be a way to have breaks from it.

You can save when hostiles are nearby but the game will warn you about it.

Yes and one of the updates did help address this issue I think but it’s still annoying as hell that there is no “safe room” or area where you could take a breather which RE provides.

I like tension and all but never having a safe place to build/craft, or check your collectables in peace got old.

If they put a Tyrant in every save room would that make everyone happy? It seems people don't think the games are hard enough as is.

Mr. X is right there in the Waiting Room.
That is one of the save rooms in the original game.
Not sure if this applies to every save rooms, though.

From the looks of it, Mr. X doesn't automatically approach you.
It will only start chasing you if you're in its sights.
