This possibly breaks immersion but it's a net gain because they're such comforting safe zones. Like an oasis.

i understand the break of immersion, but i still prefer the save room to be safe. leave the realistic aspect outside of games

TEW 2 did safe rooms right since sebastian actually locks the door when he enters and leaves to make sure only he and ally npcs can come in a and out
