Is there a reliable way to fight and kill Metal Slimes or something? Want to grind to 99.

Hope you can run into Vicious Metal King Slimes in the Luminary's Trial and use Erik's 100% crit.
I've had the most luck with the Red Giants, and gotten 5 metal king helms in the process.

only reliable method is electro light, in terms of gaurenteed fights (and the ability to save before said encounter so you can reload if they run away or you get those killer machines)

otherwise you're stuck with the ~5% encounter rate with whatever relevant metal slime you're hunting.

Electro Light is the ONLY "reliable" way to grind metals since you can guarantee Pep status by using Pips and Pops, which are easily acquired with large amounts of casino tokens or gold. Even then, it's only somewhat "reliable" since it still has a small chance to fail and produce Killing Machines.

The only real non-Electro Light way of grinding is just that, going to a place where Metal Slimes can appear and then grinding enemies until they show up. If they show up, you then have to hope you can kill them before they run away.

Dont just grind, just farm stuff you need, and when you have the electrolyte up, and dirge of dundrasil, don't even really need haullelujah, use it and keep on farming.

Stuff you need? like what?

I've sorta begun to wonder what to use Haullelujah on :/ the first few times I used it on bunnies and now I'm at a loss of what Rare drops that you need multiples of.

Idk about hallelujah and what to use it on except for late game, but generally you'll need a lot of forging materials so having bunny tails on will just net you more stuff, and you'll always need more stuff!

This is basically what I did. I just played the postgame normally and switched party members out as they got pepped up naturally. Then when everyone was ready I did Electro Light+Hallelujah. I hit 99 just before Calasmos without ever feeling like I was grinding.

I went to Manglegrove Whale Way since it's easier to find hardy hands there and they dont flee as often as other metals. But the treasure there is rubbish, so thats a major drawback.

Even doing actual grinding via Electro light+Hallelujah, It only took like an hour and a half if even that to go from 70 to 99.
