Its true

Think what you like fellow poster but I was never on a "side" to begin with. I sit on the fence in between sides and that's where I intend to stay. Plus as if any one gives a damn what I do. I'm nobody. And you bringing me up in the opener to this topic is just strange for lack of a better word.

We need to get rid of this notion that positivity is a good thing. It really isn't. Both negativity and positivity are essential depending on the situation.

Correct. I won't go into the whole "duality" thing that applies to all kinds of stuff in our world but positivity in a vacuum doesn't make for very good conversation. If no one ever criticized or challenged anything than nothing would ever change.

Just because someone has a dissenting opinion about something doesn't instantly make that person or their thoughts "bad" It all depends on how it's presented.

Yeah, I agree completely. Of course most on here would misconstrue what I am saying when I call them gullible or I call them slaves. It isn't because I hate them, its because I actually want them to think more critically and stop accepting everything they are being fed as healthy.

Ay. The problem with the current generation of gamers is they've been brought up on mostly mobile games and instant gratification. They're satisfied with mediocrity because it's the norm. Why long for something else when you can just have the same thing you've been getting since the beginning? It's "easier" and way more "familiar" and "comfortable"

Yeah but sadly this isn't just isolated to our gaming. I wish it were, if it were I wouldn't even be posting on here probably. People have a hard time grasping or maybe its just that they don't want to accept that they're grown children incapable, because of their upbringing, of seeing the bigger picture.

Let's not go there fellow poster. That's a rabbit hole I would prefer to avoid but I do agree with you.

I agree the subject makes for good conversation but I would rather not derail the entire thread talking about it. Mkay?
