Since it's character name not psn name how do I know who's who? I summoned a guy who looked like smoughs named lemon cheese if anyone knows him lol and I immediately went full ornstein and we did so many fun 2v3s but I go to players met and messaged the last like 5 saying :lemon?: and the timestamps didn't Make sense

Is it faulty or am I dumb or what

It's faulty as all hell, half the time no one shows up in mine.

Players met doesn't work well at all.

I view players as their psn name instead to help but not all of them appear in it still.

The system seems to only add players into the met category every so often. It might be based on a time stamp like every 30mins or something, could be wrong though

There's a setting in the game itself that lets you choose between seeing character name and PSN.

I keep mine on PSN for the reasons in the OP

Players Met used to work perfectly.

Then some intern at Sony released a Patch to improve our PS4 experience and now we have the functionality "Players You Probably Met 30 to 45 Minutes Ago". Has been like that for a long time already.

okay, everything makes sense now that I know what you meant. I didn't think of the "Players Met" feature.
I type lazily on the phone as well. I understand.
