Three easy choices to choose from: Kiranico, Pings Dex, or MHGen DB.

Kiranico is a website, so you'd need access to the internet to use it, but it has a listing for every monster, and the damage each zone takes, etc, in addition to lots of other useful stuff http://mhgen.kiranico.com/

Ping's MHX Dex is similar to Kiranico, with the major differences being that it's a program you download and install on your computer. It does tend to have a little more detail on stuff like quest info, and each of the monsters not only lists the hitzone damage, but has pictures with shaded areas so you know exactly where those spots are (usually pretty easy to tell, but some monsters have some wonky spots). Should be able to just google it easily enough.

MHGen DB is a phone app that functions in a similar fashion to Kiranico, with the added benefit/drawback of being a phone app: you can take it with you and it's easy to look something up, but you can't keep track of multiple tabs at the same time like you could with a browser, etc.

After all, who's supposed to figure out that only the curly part counts as Chameleos's tail?

I recommend ping's mhgen dex since it has pictures which really really helps figuring out the grey areas of weak zones.

This is an example (other resources just show the data table at the bottom without the pic)
