Is it worth the 96GB hard drive space?
It's two games. You can freely switch between PSO2 and NGS. I don't know who would still bother with PSO2 at this point but yeah.

I downloaded it the other day. Kind of reminds of me of Tera. Cool fast paced action MMO. I stopped playing it when FF7R PS5 came out though. Maybe I'll try a bit more tonight. MMOs are such a hard genre to get into for me though.

Had some very bad experiences with the original game when it launched on Windows last year. Their official launcher was so broken that you needed a fan made launcher to help install it correctly on your PC. Even after that, there were still a myriad of land mines that you needed to avoid to even get the game running correctly. The trap is complete as you will also have issues uninstalling the game, thereby having 100+ GB of space(due to the game reinstalling itself in the backround) being used up by something you don't want on your hard drive anymore.

I tried to install on Steam and was welcomed with a requirement of almost 100 GB to install it. I'm backing off now.

To be fair, MMO tends to get very big.

I hear that your stats from PSO2 don’t carry over. Sucks if true.

It kind of does carry over. You just can't use the stats in the new areas other than cosmetics and weapons skins. Your stats stay with you when you are in the old areas.
I can't believe I've been on Gamefaqs for 20 years now O_O
