RobocraftX

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1078000/RobocraftX/

Robocraft X is a game maker, where you can build your own physics games from blocks and components without the need to write code. You can also play many games that have been created and shared by others in the community.

I think this is actually free-to-play. But it's such a small install file (X00 MB) that I can always have it dl'd

Well the original Robocraft is F2P with optional cost addons, so i expect this to be much the same when it's out of early access.
If you ran the world, it would probably be on fire right now.

At least it looks like it's not pay to win like regular robocraft. Might check it out.

How was it "pay to win"? Who are you winning and losing against? Thought it was a single player sandbox game

Regular Robocraft isn't a sandbox game. It's a competitive game where you build robots that fight on teams to capture objectives.

You can pay for premium, which makes you unlock parts faster and actually gives you an advantage.
