The SNES game is great. I would give it a 6/10.

I've played all but clock tower 2 (the USA one) and I've loved them all. Has anyone played nightcry on pc? It's supposed the be the spiritual successor directed by the guy who directed the first two I believe.

That's not a good score for a 'great' game, is it?! Anyway, welcome to the horror board @slipknirvana

Just checked that out. Bad graphics for a game released in 2016!

I haven't played the original Clock Tower ON SNES yet, but hopefully soon. I did however watch a play through, and it was great.

I hadn't heard of Nightcry before but am very interested.

Haunting Ground also I believe has ties to Clock Tower

Yea, I believe haunting ground is also a spiritual successor, but from the tram of clock tower 3.

I watched some game play footage of Nightcry earlier today, played by John Wolfe.
It actually seemed pretty cool...some aspects appear slightly unfinished, but it seems in keeping with the spirit of the PS1 version at least. Very cool to have found out about it. It is a bit pricey on Steam but not too bad.

The only Clock Tower game I played was CT3. It was amazingly good, actually. Reminded me of Resident Evil 3's Nemesis, only this time you don't have any weapons until the boss fight. I still remember Hammer Man's opening scene for the shock and gore. Who else comes onto the scene by bludgeoning a six year old girl to death?

And Haunting Ground was nicely done as well, very similar to CT3 except with a dog. Tons of Game Over scenes that can be reviewed again in the Gallery section - a rare yet welcome feature.
