I see people saying it's like L4D meets Borderlands. While I love Borderlands 2, I don't care for L4D.

It's impossible to say because I have no clue why you didn't like L4D. Overall they share the same basic game structure of getting from point A to point B. However, combat is completely different.

I wouldn't say the combat is completely different... It might as well be a mod for L4D. The combat is melee focused, so lets just say L4D2 + Bloodborne. However, I do enjoy the game. Thumbs up.

There's nothing at all that's similar to the combat mechanics of L4D. Not just because it's melee focused but also because asymmetrical characters means different roles for different classes.
