For example, in Etrian Odyssey you could level to 70 then agree to be Retrained which cut your level in half to 35 but you could relevel to 70 and youd be stronger than before with higher base stats.

Not games like FF5 or DQ6 with their static % changes for your class which dont actually affect base stats. Thanks.

Edit: no tactics or isometric games please - I don't like them and GBA/SNES/DS only please. Thanks!
