Draconic Deck Banner Overview

Draconic Deck:
Ace is really more of a utility-providing mage.
His IC3 Haste LM2 and instant Blink BSB1 prove this.
But it's only fair that he gets an Arcane when he's attempting to compete in debatably the most stacked field, magical Fire.

Mythril Deck
A USB designed to be mostly self-sufficient.
Assuming you are using 6* Black Magic like Meltdown or Chain Firaja, by the time the USB mode ends, you've already recouped 4/5th of the cost to recast it if you need.
HQC2 makes this an upgrade to his random USB1. The heal is to remind you that Ace brings utilities.

Nagamitsu:
If you're familiar with DCecil's USB, then you should know just how good this is.
While Jack doesn't have a Glint to keep this USB near-permanently active, he has his own tricks.
Namely, his LM2 Trance. This USB leaves Jack at 1% HP, so you can guess what happens. The Trance grants 75% critfix. You essentially get an extra effect tacked on.
A solid contender for your physical Fire teams.

Butterfly Edges:
No Torment trap is complete without pure and utter Torment bait.
Astra to prevent Nox Suzaku's Interrupt, Reraise for the ST Death, instant Haste to get your party started, and Shell to save slots.
Rem skyrockets in value as a Torment pick if you already have relics for her.
It's just that the blatant cashgrabbing of this relic reminds you who we're dealing with.

Anima Flute:
I've talked about Arc USB2 in the last banner.
But there is no substitute for the real deal, an Ovelia USB clone in the flesh.
Well, it's here because Nox Suzaku also inflicts a RES debuff for you to overwrite.
But putting that aside, unlike Ovelia, Deuce has access to Allegro con Moto and WHT Dualcast as an LM2. Should you get this, Ovelia can move over.

Lustrous Deck:
It's an EnFire stack, it's +10 MAG, but external QC is everywhere, and Ace has his USBs to provide it too.

Diamond Bangle:
A poverty option, really. USB2 should give HQC; BSB1 has the same CMD2 but with -RES. The mixed buff is also given by Deuce BSB, although I highly doubt that will see much use if you have either of her USBs.

Jack's Finest / Diamond Gloves:
With the USB's HQC active, it should be easy to combo into this for Imperil Fire and press your advantage. Although it could make keeping the Stoneskin-sustained mode a bit tricky.
Poverty without the USB, excellent with.
The EnFire will help if you have the Burst but miss the USB.

Rem's Guise:
A debit card with which you can withdraw from an ATM called Yiazmat.

Flame Armlet:
An LMR to supplement Ace if you're working without either of his USBs, but especially if you have the BSB1.

Gold Hairpin:
With the LM2 and the cycling HQC from Rem's USB1, her MND will stack damn quickly. An excellent LMR to add to her arsenal.


Conclusion:
While this is a very strong banner, especially considering this is a Torment trap, there have been a wave of Fire-focused banners lately, haven't there?
A near-clone of this reappears in the Eight / Cater event, but if you are looking to grab Rem AASB then and want Type-0 or Fire power now, go nuts.

Outsiders & Argentic Daggers Banner Overview

Outsiders:
There are so many ways to use Machinist Double.
Imperil stacking, fast attacking, chain building.
Complemented well by King's IC3 LM2, which lets him do any number of things before casting this, or just cast it outright.
Even if you only have space for Prompto in other cases, then he'll certainly appreciate a +Lightning gun.
...That being said, Cater in the next Type-0 event is an excellent dedicated Imperil, if you are looking for that.

Argentic Daggers:
Not so much a banner decision when we know that Rem has her AASB. Unless you have more money than sense and want an optimal Rem for the Torment right now in which case sure, go ahead.
Honestly, just be patient.

Shock Hammer:
Quetzalcoatl's Savage Mode is a massive annoyance.
But even apart from breaking that PITA on demand, the way this and Cinque's LM2 interact is absurd.
It's been covered before, so I'll give you the cliffnotes version.
With a high enough chain, Cinque could dump 99999 per maxed Stone Press. The LM2 activates, and this USB mode brings her back to max instantly.
Repeat on the next turn.

Silver Whipblade:
Maybe you're looking for options against Typhon.
Seven is still not a bad choice.
Don't fall into the trap of thinking that Snort is your only adversary; the Enaero stacks can pulverize you.
Imperil Ice and a mixed Breakdown is a good way of supporting your team there.

Argentic Flute
Rem USB2 and Deuce USB2 are preventive.
Deuce USB1 cleans up after messes.
Nox Suzaku's Death attacks are an obvious one.
While the USB2 is in my opinion much better, this will work just as well if you just need a good healer.
Emphasis on good, not best.

Deuce's Akademeia Uniform:
Poverty option. Being Cura doesn't help matters but the mixed buff does; Type-0 does not have a lot of buffs period.

Seven's Guise:
The USB is an upgrade in every way.
You're not really going to miss that -DEF that much, right?

Regal Crown / Queen's Guise:
Relics whichs suggest to me that Queen USB will replace the off-banners.
So I'll talk about that.
Despite the Trance, QC USB, and dualcast LMR providing all the combinations Queen could want, she is simply not that fast.
She will work. But neither is she Lightning, or Sora, or King, or...

Platinum Gloves / Dominion Helmet:
Start-up LMRs to tide over these two before their USBs come into play.

Seven's Gauntlets:
As an Ice mage, Imperil is Seven's job.
So another chance for her to do it better is appreciated.


Conclusion: A banner full of older things to round out your collection.
But unlike many other 2nd banners, this too is sufficient to try your hand at the Torment.
If you're rolling here over Banner 1, you probably have a few Magicite woes you need fixed, and that's fine.

Banner 2 has many dupes, and is a total pass. Have to evaluate banner 1 since ace is in my magic fire team. Jack likely isnt making the physical fire group.

I am really hoping Sice is added to banner 1. Right now I have one dupe (Rem BSB,) but while I'd like to keep it at one dupe I guess at most three dupes will still make this banner very good.

At least two pulls on banner 1. Probably will skip banner 2 even though I still would like Queen BSB and LMR.
