With doubled ATB & Casting Speed, Phoenix's takes a complete turn every 0.963s.

It will be the fastest boss any of you will experience so far. Even the strongest whales will be taken aback for a while by the incoming attack spam.

I'm not saying it's difficult.....well it is objectively the strongest Magicite boss so far...
But after the initial shock, many JP players went on to sub30s it.

Every attack is AOE.
Every turn is a damaging attack, there is no rest turn. Even the gravity can kill you.
On top of that, it self heals every ~5 turns. That's 50k each.
Savage Meltdown is the most dangerous attack and it saps the party.

Well as tough as it looks, Phoenix will be the most defeated boss within a few days. Water is just too strong.
Just adjust your defensive passives so that you can survive multiple AOEs, and DPS away.

I was thinking the same thing haha

Is Yuffie not recommended here? Heard blinks will be hard to keep.

Thinking I should be able to beat this guy:

Tidus ASB USB BSB2
Yuffie ASB USB2 bsb LMR
Rikku CSB BSB
Tyro USB3
Elara USB

Just worried about survival... also have Khimari's USB, but got nothing else for him, but thinking if Phoenix is that fast this USB can help out.
RW - Shadow BSB for dailies

Thanks Solitaire.

Not looking forward to either fire magicite... my tools for this fight are... mediocre at best. Not for lack of trying, pulled 4 times on the fire/ water banner two fests ago and still missing both fire and water chains, among many others.

Tidus BSB1/2 glint OSB
Bartz water BSB/USB1
Wakka Imperil USB
Rikku Imperil BSB
Uhh... Edge? With USB0?

Yeah, not looking good. Probably run Ignis and Aerith, and boost Bartz up, make his many many hits do something.

Is Aria USB a good idea for Phoenix?

Though I imagine it might not be good for SB generation as stoneskin blocks attacks
