Which way would you rather see selection advice threads? - Results (41 votes)
Keep all questions in one thread - don't clutter the board
39.02% (16 votes)
16
Keep all questions in separate threads - separate each one for clear context
60.98% (25 votes)

This poll is now closed.
I'm idly curious whether the individual advice threads bother people or if most are fine with a separate thread for each person's request.
Odd.

I say seperate Threads, but it depends on if the poster seeking help gets help in the original topic or not. I think new threads gain more prominence for some odd reason

a megathread would be largely ignored.

I honestly like the individual threads for people. Easier to track who has given what advice by just scrolling up. Especially if questions were asking regarding "what else do you have", "do you have x", "what chains" ,etc.

Sometimes, I don't have anything to add to the discussion because all my points have been mentioned and I can just vote in the poll that lends towards what the ideal choice is.

Overall, yes they generate more forum clutter but still the most efficient way to grant individualized information. Just like trying to get individualized magicite strategy advice during the busy season.

my post
cleared it
advice 1
cleared it .0005 faster
advice plus question
NEW CLEARZ
my post 2
detailed sub 30 clear results
10x congrats
reply to my #2
30x congrats

Not a criticism of magicite topics, just an example of how it can be inefficient for both the help requester and helpers to weed through clutter in order to diagnose.

I would like to see less clutter personally but I think individual posts work better because:

-Polls
-Everyone has different relics/goals
-Questions/advice can get lost in a sea of posts in 1 thread unless everyone remembers to tag people.

Separate, so the most context can be given.

Actually a dedicated relic select help thread or team help thread would be a good idea, but it'd have to be bumped constantly.

Every time I post in a dedicated discussion/help thread, I get an answer only about 10% of the time. So, separate is better.
The good ol' days never existed. It's the coverage of negative news that increased significantly. www.goodnewsnetwork.org
