Blaster was released around the time the Great Video Game Crash of 1983-1984 was beginning. As a result of this, it is believed that only roughly 1000 Blaster machines were produced. Out of these one thousand machines, only three of them were sit-down models. One is displayed at the house of designer Eugene Jarvis's father, while another was converted into a machine for a prototype game called Devastator. The third sit-down machine has supposedly been spotted in the wild, but no one knows for sure where it is today.
