TX-1 was notable for having three monitors instead of the standard single monitor. One monitor was in the middle and positioned directly in front of the player, while the others were to the player's left and right, each angled at a thirty-degree angle, giving the player a more realistic three-dimensional view of the track. While it was a technological marvel for its time, the actual machine itself was bigger than most games and required more space than most games did. As a result, it was only released in very limited quantities.
