  1. The only reason I can figure is because it is ported to a Nintendo handheld system. Nintendo has a history of toning down games on their systems. You also don't see blood and gore as much on handheld systems either. The PC and console versions probably offer more realistic violence and blood. I noticed today while playing the game on my Nintendo 3DS that one of the guards did yell out "sh!t" while searching for me. Perhaps in the other versions there is harsher profanity as well.
