Blade Master keeps one-sword technique but amplifies the damage with critical factor. Sword God gives skills a chance to critically strike and increases critical strike damage, Bolt Slash deals volt+cut damage, Mirror Moon gives a chance to nullify physical attacks and then counterattack for one turn, Foot Sweep gives evasion debuff to one enemy’s row, Helm Splitter deals cut damage while ignoring target's cut resistance, Spirit Sword reduces an enemy's damage when you use a single target attack, Triple Strike deals 3 strikes while also trying to inflict each bind for each attack, and Petal Scatter deals multi hit attacks based on how many enemies are alive.

Similar to Impact Brawler, any classes with attack buffs and defense debuffs are recommended to be included. Helm Splitter has quite low accuracy, but Leg Bind, Blind, Panic, Petrification, Sleep, and Paralyze (when it stuns) make it so Helm Splitter cannot miss. For Leg Bind skills, Pugilist's Leg Bind, Rover's Hunter Shot, and Hunting Hound's Foot Pierce may be considered here, but most of the classes have skills to inflict ailments that remove evasion from enemies, so they can be added into the team as well.

With the assumption of rested character with around 30 skill points, maximize Sword God and Helm Splitter. That's 10 points to Sword God, 2 points to Armor Pierce, 3 points to Haze Slash, 5 points to Foot Sweep, and 10 points to Helm Splitter. I believe you should be able to inflict Leg Bind or ailments for whatever party members you have. Spend your extra points to upgrade Armor Pierce and then learn High Ground.

Contributed by Enfinete:

Helm Splitter: it ignores cut resistance but still does cut damage, and you can get 'kill with cut conditional'. Ignoring Cut resistance means it ignores physical resistance increase from petrification.

Blade Master? Assuming you aren't going for like Mirror Moon gimmick or Triple Strike feeding Hell Slash or something,

  1. Do you have accuracy support? If Yes, go Helm Splitter. If not, Petal Scatter.
  2. Max Sword God in all cases. Consider leveling Spirit Sword too.
  3. Keep your High Ground(9)/Armor Pierce(10) from basic tree at least, as well as Duel.
  4. Grab other damage-boosting passives. Consider Speed Up if your accuracy support is in form of buffs/debuffs, as well as Foot Sweep. No need if your accuracy support is in form of ailment/bind.
  5. Level other skills as you see fit.
