Hug the right wall until you arrive at the dead end to examine the hollow. If you bring a Celestrian, you need to learn Night Vision to be able to avoid the battle, otherwise you have to fight 3 Venomous Leeches. Either choice, you'll get Mossy Ore as reward.

Adventurer's Log

Hollowed Realization

Being able to see in the dark enabled you to preemptively eliminate the dangers lurking in a shadowy tree hollow.

Adventure Result (EXP)AdvancedBasic

Backtrack, and shortly afterward, a crevice can be found on your right side, which is impassable for now. Head back toward the entrance and open the door in the east. FOEs show up on the field but fortunately they don't chase you. Iron Crustacean moves around on 3x3 squares, so keep that in your mind. Hug the left wall to find another door to the next zone, head northwest to find a fishing spot, return to previous area and keep hugging the left wall to find another crevice which is also impassable, then head south until you can check a tree. Select each party member to deal with the monkey, then predict how the monkey throws the apple. I simply picked "Overhanded" to successfully catch a Moon Apple. Hug the right wall to harvest a few Forest Wheats, then follow the way to the north by hugging the left wall until you arrive at the other side of the crevice. Head east from here to meet a guard who eventually makes Dried Fish in exchange of your Forest Fish.

Adventurer's Log

Anyway the Wind Blows

You caught a guardsman napping in a place with a nice breeze. He taught you how to dry fish.

Adventure Result (EXP)AdvancedBasic

Here you can make Dried Fish as many as you want. Personally, I asked him twice to make another 2 Dried Fishes. Now keep heading east until you find another place for stone-skipping game. It can only be cleared with a Therian who has learned Brute Strength, but then you have to fight a Hurt Crustacean, the same FOE monster on the field. However, it has less HP thanks to the stone's impact damage. This creature still has the same stat as Iron Crustacean, so it'll become a hard battle; just bring out your best attacks to defeat it. You can actually escape but it doesn't clear the event, so this option can't be picked.

Adventurer's Log

Stone Skipping!

After trying stone skipping, you hit a lobster with a rock. But you survived the battle and learned a new game!

Adventure Result (EXP)AdvancedBasic

Keep hugging the left wall until you find another golem statue which also acts as a switch. Rotate it, hug the right wall until you find a fishing point, head southeast to find another golem statue, then head straight to the west to find a resting area which recovers 12 TP (Advanced) / 15 TP (Basic) to all of your party members.

Adventurer's Log

Peace of Mind

You took a well-earned break in the cool breeze of a nice clearing to rest your minds.

Adventure Result (EXP)AdvancedBasic

Turn back and keep hugging the left wall, touch the third and fourth switches, head back to retouch the third switch, and come back to the stone wall near the fourth event, which should be accessible now. Head north to retouch the fourth switch from the other side, then continue west to meet Conrad again who gives a tip about Detect Mana skill.

Adventurer's Log

Tips of the Trade

Listening to other guilds can prove useful in the labyrinth. For instance, Detect mana will help with the stone walls.

Adventure Result (EXP)AdvancedBasic

If you still haven't learned Detect Mana skill, now is the best time. Hug the right wall to find another crevice which leads to a treasure chest with Seal Breaker. Either of Warlock, Shaman, or Botanist can equip it. Return to previous zone and head west to find another stairs to 5F. However, I prefer to return to the town since some requests will be available. If you are also going back to the town, make sure to touch the crevice to open the shortcut in the west, otherwise it's still inaccessible and you have to travel a long way again.

The Proving

This request from the Council is for new guilds: "Prove to us that you can defeat a Toxipede."

Reward: Amrita

Toxipede is an FOE in 2F. This battle is quite challenging depending on how many levels your characters have. You may also need to bring a few Medica and Nectar before fighting it. Defeating this enemy nets Metal Pincer as reward.

Adventure Result (EXP)AdvancedBasic

Roping in a Legend

A giant-sized Roper has been sighted. Bring back proof that it actually exists.

Reward: Volt Jar x3

You need to collect a Thick Vine which is dropped by Colossal Roper in 3F and 4F. If you trigger a random encounter with 3 Ropers, let them merge together into Colossal Roper and then defeat it. If you have defeated it and obtain the item during your previous journey, this request can be cleared immediately.

Adventure Result (EXP)AdvancedBasic

Now select PATRON to see some new faces. However, they just inform some tips which may be useful during your adventure. Once you've cleared both requests, head toward 5F.
