Head southeast to examine something about moonlight. It's required for a request later. Directly north from here a giant stone wall, which is similar to the one you've found in 2F, can be found on your right side. Nothing can be done for now. Hug the right wall to find a golem, which acts as a switch, to open the path in its opposite way and reveals a door. Open the door, then head northeast to find another door. A new FOE, Owl Beast, shows up on the field. This creature always chases you and doesn't follow a certain movement, so keep that in your mind. Move clockwise until you find another door, then head south until you arrive at a dead end. This event requires Forage Skill to be completed. Once you've learned it, simply choose the first option twice to obtain 5 Meats as reward.
By using your Forage Skill, you tracked down the source of a loud noise and feasted on the meat of a wild boar.

Hug the right wall until you find another door, then keep hugging the right wall to find another stone wall. Leave it for now and then head south to find another door. There is a switch in the east which opens the path in its opposite way and reveals another door. Don't go there, but head toward the center and examine a chopping point. I got Ivied Bark, then Ivied Bark and Crooked Tree, and another Ivied Bark thanks to one of my Earthlain's Gathering Skill. It seems that starting from this floor you may get ambushed when foraging at any points, so keep that in your mind. It happened to me here. Head back to the north door and go southeast to find another door, then head southeast to the center of the dead end to find Jenetta who can bake some breads. Choose either option to trigger the first conversation, then:
- The first-first options will trade Forest Wheat with White Bread.
- The first-second options will trade Forest Wheat and Forest Berries with Fruit Cake.
- The second-first options will trade Roasted Meat with White Bread.
- The second-second options will trade Grilled Fish with Fruit Cake.
Since Fruit Cake can replenish some TP, I decided to collect a few Fruit Cakes here. Once you've done with that, head back to the door and head north, skip the first door in the east, open the second door, then follow the path to examine a backpack. One of your party members will lose some HP, but you obtain Celestial Silver as reward.

An abandoned bag turned out to be covered in Toxipede larvae. There's no telling when danger might strike in the labyrinth!

- This event is scripted and you can't prevent your character from losing HP.
Head north to find a switch which opens a path somewhere (actually directly 14 squares at the west of this switch), head west to find a fishing point and obtain Forest Fish, head back to the door and then keep going west, skip the first door on your right, and open the next door which actually has been visited before. Now keep hugging the right wall until you find another door. If you have examined the previous switch, this door will be accessible. There is another Owl Beast FOE here which always follows wherever you go, so hug the left wall until you can open a chest with Hamao, then turn back to the west and make a round trip to the east to find another door. If you engage a random encounter, immediately flee from it because an FOE is directly behind you.
Enter the next zone and find another switch which opens the path at the south of the second event. That's your next destination, so head back and hug the right wall to avoid the FOE, then make a round trip to the south door. Open it and then head east to open another door, and continue to the south door which should be accessible now. There is another Owl Beast FOE again on the field. Move 1 square west, then head east to find a switch which opens a path somewhere (actually directly 16 squares at the west of this switch). Head south to find a door, then head directly south to meet Conrad again. If you accept his offer, you'll obtain 5 Olives as reward. However, if you play as decoy, you have to fight 1 Charging Boar and 2 Ice Bats, and then obtain 8 Olives after defeating them.

While exploring the woods, you teamed up with another adventurer to pick olives from an abandoned grove.

There is another switch nearby to open a faraway path at F1. Now head back to previous area, which still has an FOE, hug the right wall and follow the way to the northwest door. If you engage a random encounter, immediately flee from it because an FOE is directly behind you. After opening the door, head southwest to open the door which should be accessible now, head north to find another switch which opens a new path directly 8 squares at the west of this switch, head west to harvest a few Moon Apples, hug the right wall until you come back to the first door on the map, and then head southwest from there to find another unlocked path thanks to the switch at F7. Here you can open 2 chests with Volt Jar and Memory Conch. The latter accessory makes your non-active party members receive a few EXP after every battle, so equip it when necessary.
Head back to previous zone and hug the left wall to find a notice that explains about a nearby hunting trap. If you bring a Therian, you need to learn its Reflexes skill now. Follow the way to the dead end, and your Therian will save another character thanks to their skill. If you don't learn the Reflexes, one of your character will lose some HP.

After spotting a warning sign, you were ready for danger and nimbly avoided a deadly trap.

Keep hugging the right wall until you find another door which should be accessible now. In this zone, another switch can be found in the south, opening the path directly 10 squares at the north of this switch. Now head toward the center of the field to find some information about beehive. It's required to clear a request later. Exit from this place and head north until you find a chopping point. I got 2 Spiraling Vines, Ivied Bark, and 2 Crooked Trees. Now head 2 squares south, 2 squares west, and 1 square south to examine another object. A lemur, which has been encountered in 2F, wants to say thanks for your help in obtaining a fish. It gives 3 Skunk Cabbages and then quickly flees. Head southwest from here to examine something about sunlight. It's required for a request later. Head north to find a sealed door similar to the one in 1F. Ignore it for now, and then hug the left wall to approach the upstairs to 4F. You'll meet Lili again, who says that you need permission from Council to progress any further. Clear whatever necessary here and then return to the town.
A Town Crier explains that the Council invites brave adventurers to travel deeper into the labyrinth, kind of what Lili has been said before. However, before doing that, save your game, then visit BAR to clear some requests.
"I need rare materials for a wedding ring. Won't someone lend me a helping hand?"
Reward: Medica II x3
During your previous journey, you should have marked both sunlight and moonlight objects. Now simply go there to collect the items. However, you need to collect the Sunstone during the daylight and Moonstone in the evening. Therefore you may want to collect the Sunstone first, then clear the other request, and come back to collect the Moonstone. Once you've obtained both items, head back to BAR and talk to Thadius to give them.
This request is from the Arcania Council: "Defeat a rare breed of monster on 2F."
Reward: 600 en
Once you've accepted the request, a new destination appears in 2F. Simply go there, and then explore somewhere to engage random encounter. Rare breeds are similar to normal monster but they are glowing, have better stats, have bonus EXP multiplier, but easily flee. I encountered a rare Air Squirrel which gave 300 Bonus EXP, five times than its original 60 EXP.
Now select PATRON to see some new faces. The first one is Thadius who is connected with the first request. He explains about the daylight and evening, which I have mentioned above. The second one in the list introduces himself as Marten, who sells a set of Olives for a certain price. Hansuke also shows up here, informing about rare enemy drops for a certain price. The rest of the patrons just inform some tips which may be useful during your adventure.
Once you've cleared both requests, head toward Council Hall. Ramus wants you to clear the 1st Stratum and continue to the 2nd Stratum. He also gives Bread Recipe regardless of your choice. Now accept the second mission in the game, then rest and save your game.

3F is inaccessible from GATE, so you'll need to climb up from 2F to 4F.
