4th Stratum

3F & 4F Tutelary Forest (hidden area)

These 2 areas are connected to each other, and you need to traverse between floors to get the reward, so both areas will be discussed together. The master gate is located in 3F, and it's faster if you reach it by landing on 4F and then going downstairs.

Shielded Phasmid is quite troublesome enemy. It doesn't have an attack move, but it has 2 counter moves, and both moves deal a lot of damage. Both moves use arms, and fortunately this enemy is susceptible to arm bind, so you need to bind its arms before it can counterattack. If you are ambushed and it manages to activate one of its moves, don't launch any attack except your arm binder character.

Hug the left wall until you find the upstairs to 4F, but it leads to an empty zone. Return to 3F and head southeast to touch the first switch, head northeast and keep hugging the left wall until you touch the second switch at A4, head 3 squares south and 2 squares east to touch the third switch at B5, then head northeast to climb the upstairs to 4F.

Hug the right wall until you arrive at B3 and find the downstairs to 3F, then hug the left wall until you find a statue at B2. Touch it and then the north door will be accessible. Exit through the door and then retouch the first switch so that it blocks the north path. You won't be able to go east, so return to the previous zone and go upstairs back to 4F.

Now hug the right wall until you arrive at B6 and find the downstairs to 3F. Hug the right wall and go through a shortcut in the east, then head southeast to find another statue. Touch it to open the door directly 11 squares west of this statue, then come back through the shortcut and go upstairs back to 4F. Once again you need to hug the right wall until you go downstairs at A6 to return to 3F.

Hug the left wall until you find a door, which should be accessible since you have touched the statue before. Enter the next zone and then face south to retouch the third switch in order to open the path in the north, then make a round trip to the fourth switch at B3. Touch this switch, head 2 squares east and 1 square south to touch another switch at B3, go back to retouch the fourth switch, and then make a round trip again to retouch the third switch at B5. Now the south path will be accessible, so follow the way to find another upstairs to 4F. This zone has 2 chests with Training Orb and Nectar II, and that completes your journey.

  • I describe Training Orb as EXP Walker accessory, in which your character equipped with this accessory will gain EXP as many as their level for every step they make. For instance, if you put this on your level 40 character, this character gains 40 EXP for each step. Now you can train your lower level character in order to catch up with your main team. However, it can't level up the character; you still need to defeat enemy in order to raise the level.
