6th Stratum

29F - Past the Edge of Despair

Bring a few Nectars to be used when Stardust self-destructs. Remember that normal (blue) warp points take you 5 squares ahead, orange warp points take you 10 squares ahead, green warp points take you 20 squares ahead, and purple warp points take you 30 squares ahead.

Similar to what happens in previous floor, there are several toxic areas which reduce your party members' HP by 50 (Advanced) / 40 (Basic) whenever you step onto them. Guard Sole items / Warlock's Levitation skill is required to prevent the damages. Guard Soles are buyable at the shop for each Floating Cranium, dropped by Cracked Skull, a common enemy in 3rd Stratum.

Remember, the difficulty can be changed anytime when you're in town.

Head north and open the door. This room has 1 Taurus Demon FOE on the field, and toxic areas will impede its movement toward you, so keep that in your mind.

Night Witch is immune to all elements and her additional loot can only be obtained if you defeat her with one of the elements. Fortunately if you perform element-imbued physical attacks, they still fulfill the requirement.

29F - Past the Edge of Despair (part 1)

Head 2 squares east and 3 squares south to find a purple warp point which takes you to the southeastern part of 28F. Open the shortcut, then approach another purple warp point to be back to this floor. Follow the way to find 2 impassable crevices in the north and south, then open the door in the west. This room has 1 Mounting Horror FOE on the field, and thanks to the toxic areas, its copies will always disappear when touching them, so keep that in your mind.

If you don't trigger any random encounter in this room, you can simply hug the right wall to reach the southwest door. The next room also has 1 Mounting Horror FOE on the field. If you don't trigger any random encounter in this room, head 4 squares west, 1 square north, 2 squares west, and head north all the way until you reach the northwest door. The next room has 2 Mounting Horror FOEs on the field. If you don't trigger any random encounter in this room, head 3 squares south, 3 squares west, 5 squares south, and then head west to exit from this room. Now head north to find a mining point with Meteorite, Checkered Board, and Azure Dew, then head south to find a purple warp point to be back at 28F. In order to explore the northern part of this floor, you have to traverse between 26F - 28F, so let's explore those hidden areas.

28F - Propechies in the Void (first hidden area)

After approaching the southwestern purple warp point on 29F, you'll show up at the southwestern zone in 28F. Don't approach the purple warp point directly on your right side. Head 2 squares north and 1 square east to approach the orange warp point, move 1 square south to open the shortcut, then come back and head west to open the door. This room has 1 chest with Assault Wand. Exit from this room and then open the door in the north. There are 2 Prosperous Gel FOEs on the field. Lure the first one to make a round trip in the east, and then head west and north to open the next door. You'll find a green warp point which takes you back to 27F. Now move forward to find a purple warp point and return to 26F.

26F - Taking a Step Beyond (hidden area)

Head straight to approach an orange warp point to F1, then head east to F2. This zone has 7 warp points with various colors, but for now head toward the blue warp point in the center (the fourth warp point) which should be directly in front of you. Head northeast to approach another blue warp point which takes you to the north but still in the same room, then apporach it again to be teleported to F2, and head west to open a chest with Nectar II. This completes the first part of your journey through the entire 29F. You need to return to the places with 7 warp points, but I think it's faster if you return to the town rather than following the path again.

Either way, after landing on 28F, you can head west through the opened shortcut before, and then follow the way again until you return to the places with 7 warp points in 26F. Now approach the orange warp point in the left (the third warp point) which takes you to D2. Head south to find a chopping point with Flowering Branch, Tripod Cedar, and Reverse Tree, then head north to approach a purple warp point to 27F. Head southwest to find another purple warp point which takes you back to 28F, and then head straight to find a green warp point which takes you back to 29F.

29F - Past the Edge of Despair (part 2)

Basically you need to lure it 4 squares west and then lure it to the north side of this area. Escape through the blue warp point, head east to find another blue warp point, and reenter this area through the door. If done correctly, Taurus Demon won't be coming back to its starting position, so you can simply head north and follow the way to open another door.

This room has 4 Taurus Demon FOEs on the field, and your objective is to reach the east door, guarded by 2 Taurus Demon. Toxic areas hinder their movements, and unfortunately it's a disadvantage because you need to make additional moves to lure the FOEs away from the door. Lure 3 of them to the north side before exiting through the door. The details of necessary steps can't be described easily, so look at the image shown here.

Head southeast to find a Mandrapotatoes harvest point, open the shortcut in the south, head west to find a mining point with Meteorite, Checkered Board, and Azure Dew, head east to open another shortcut at D7, then come back through 2 shortcuts and head north until you find a blue warp point to A6. Move east to find a fishing point, head northwest to harvest a few Moon Apples, then turn back and approach the green warp point from its east to be teleported to A1. Hug the left wall to find a purple warp point which takes you back to 28F, then head south toward another purple warp point to 27F.

27F - Paths Lit by Heaven (hidden area)

You'll start at B1. Head 3 squares north and then head east, follow the way until you find a blue warp point at A2, then open the chest with Formaldehyde. This completes your second journey through the entire 29F. Actually you can head south and touch another blue warp point to be back at C3, but you have to backtrack a long way until you can arrive at B1 again. Personally I chose to return to the town at this point.

Once you've arrived at B1, head north and follow the way, ignore the shortcut for now, and head east to harvest a few Forest Wheats. Backtrack and now pass through the shortcut at A2, touch the blue warp point to B2, head west to approach an orange warp point to D2, head east to approach another blue warp point to D4, open the shortcut in the south, then come back head straight to approach another warp point to C3. Follow the way to find a taking point with Ambrosia, Vortex Flower, and Starfall Fruit, head south this time to approach an orange warp point to C2, follow the way to approach blue warp point to A1, and then follow the way to approach a purple warp point to 28F.

28F - Propechies in the Void (second hidden area)

You'll arrive at A2. This is a big room with 4 Prosperous Gel FOEs on the field. Your objective is the green warp point in the northeast, but there is one chest at C3 that needs to be opened. This following strategy works only if you travel without being interrupted. If you trigger random encounter, you need to defeat or escape it on your first turn, otherwise all FOEs' position will be changed from what is described below.

Head 2 squares south and 3 squares east, then step back 2 squares west to avoid the FOE (keep 3 squares away), then move 2 squares east, 3 squares south, 1 square west, and 2 squares south. The FOE on your east will be alerted but it's required to reach the chest quicker. Now move 2 squares south and 4 squares east to open a chest with Gold Ingot, then move back 4 squares west and you'll see a blue warp point 2 squares ahead but don't approach it. Make a counterclockwise trip to approach this warp point from its south to be teleported north and also escape from the FOE, then head 1 square north, 4 squares east, and then north until you reach the green warp point. You'll be teleported to A7 and there is a purple warp point to return to the last part of 29F.

29F - Past the Edge of Despair (part 3)

Follow the way to find a green warp point which takes you to F6, then head north to open the shortcut and also harvest a few Forest Wheats. Thanks to this shortcut now you can reach this area from the entrance of this floor. Backtrack to approach another green warp point to B7, then head south, ignore the door in the west, and pass through the shortcut at C6. Approach the blue warp point to A7, follow the way to find an orange warp point to A5, then head west until you find a mining point with Meteorite, Checkered Board, and Azure Dew. While heading west you can also see a blue warp point which takes you to 30F, the last floor in the game. However, as usual you need to clear the requests, so it's better if you return to the town. If you do, you may want to land on 30F before going back, as it enables quick access to this floor from GATE later.

Don't sell all of your ores, as you need to bring at least one of them to unlock a request on this floor.

Breaking the Barriers

"I want someone to gather materials for a special pickaxe for breaking crystals on the 4th Stratum."

Reward: Formaldehyde x3

This request only appears if you bring at least one ore obtained in 6th Stratum. Select PATRON and talk to Therian Miner who is very, very suspicious. He wants you to bring back each of Meteorite, Checkered Board, and Azure Dew, all of which are mining materials in 6th Stratum. If you've already farmed these items during your previous adventure, this request can be cleared immediately. He then reveals that Miss Mirina is the one who makes the request but she asks for his help to craft the pickaxe. After reporting the result, you have the option to refuse the reward, and then you have a few decisions when talking with Mirina. However, the outcome doesn't change regardless of your choices.

Adventure Result (EXP)AdvancedBasic
8500001.02 million

After clearing the previous request, Mirina reveals her true request which deals with another superboss, so I'll separate it into the next section. Head back to INN to save your progress, then, if you still haven't fought 4th Stratum Superboss, now is the best time, otherwise warp to 30F.
