6th Stratum

28F - Propechies in the Void

Similar to previous floor, you may want to equip Comet Ornament to your main damage dealer, as Stardust will self-destruct and may instantly kill one of your characters if being attacked. Also bring a lot of Nectars as backup. Remember that normal (blue) warp points take you 5 squares ahead, orange warp points take you 10 squares ahead, green warp points take you 20 squares ahead, and purple warp points take you 30 squares ahead. Fortunately you won't be be teleporting as many as before, because there is only one big area to be explored for now. I'll still mention the necessary warps in order to reach higher floor, as well as put some bricks to avoid unwanted teleportations.

Similar to what happens in 3rd Stratum, starting from this floor you'll start to find toxic areas, but now they reduce your party members' HP by 50 (Advanced) / 40 (Basic) whenever you step onto them. That's why you need to bring a few Guard Soles / activate Warlock's Levitation skill to prevent the damages. Guard Soles are buyable at the shop for each Floating Cranium, dropped by Cracked Skull, a common enemy in 3rd Stratum.

Remember, the difficulty can be changed anytime when you're in town.

There is one big area until you reach the warp point to higher floor, and you can also find a total of 5 Prosperous Gel FOEs on the field. This creature moves on its own moving pattern, but it'll be alerted and then chase you when you are 2 squares away from it. This enemy can also hide itself when moving to a toxic floor (the FOE sign disappears on the map), which may catch your party members off-guard if you don't remember its position properly. Since it's one big area, you have to make use of warp points in order to escape from this FOE when it happens.

Quick warp to 29F

Actually you can go straight to 29F if you enter this floor by using the purple warp point on 27F. You only need to avoid 1 Prosperous Gel FOE which lurks at A5-A6, then head east until you found an orange warp point at A7. If you do this, you can unlock requests for both 28F and 29F, but you need to collect mining materials to unlock the first 29F request, which can't be collected near the entrance of 29F. So I prefer to clear this floor before going up.

Remember that you need to enter this floor by using purple warp point on 28F. Head west until you harvest a few Moon Apples, then turn back and head southwest this time to open a chest with Guard Sole. Enter the nearby warp point to be teleported to F4, then move clockwise to find an impassable crevice on your left side. If you move clockwise again, you'll find another warp point, but it takes you back to 27F so don't approach it. Hug the left wall until you harvest a few Forest Wheats, then continue until you open the door at D3. You'll find a campfire in the middle of the field. Exit from this room and then backtrack all the way to the south until you find an orange warp point at F3. Teleport to F7, move forward to find a fishing point, head north to find another impassable crevice on your right side, and then hug the right wall until you harvest a few Mandrapotatoes. However, you have to make sure that you always stay at least 3 squares from the FOE before reaching it.

In this region there are 2 FOEs at D5 and D7. Basically you need to go through the narrow path at D6, then head north to C6. Remember to always stay at least 3 squares away from both FOEs. Now move to C5 and head north to the narrow path, and you'll find another FOE. I couldn't find a way to escape from this FOE if I moved straight to the narrow path, so I lured it out to the C5 warp point and let it warped anywhere, then head toward the narrow path and hug the right wall until you can harvest a few Mandrapotatoes. Your next objective is the orange warp point at A7, but it takes you to 29F. Personally I returned to the town to deal with the requests before going up.

Without using Guard Sole or Warlock's Levitation skill, it's possible to traverse without taking any damage even if you arrive by using the normal (blue) warp point. Just follow the green path from F4 to the northeastern block of D5, teleport to B5, then continue until you reach the A7 orange warp point. However, you need to defeat most of the FOEs on the field, especially those 3 in the northern area.

Land on 25F and then you'll find that this place is filled with Xenopod monsters. Engage into 5 random encounters and defeat those Xenopods to lure out the big boss, Xenolord, which ambushes your party members. This enemy can inflict Panic, so you may want to bring a few Therica Bs, and also can inflict full binds, so you may want to bring a few Therica As. Both attacks use head so the boss can be stopped by using head bind skills. Other than that, it's pretty much a standard battle. It's even weaker than 6th Stratum FOEs, so you shouldn't have any trouble in defeating it.

The second request is connected with another superboss, so I'll separate it into the next section. Head back to INN to save your progress, then, if you still haven't fought 3rd Stratum Superboss, now is the best time, otherwise warp to 29F. I think it's faster if you land on 28F, then return to 27F, warp back by using the purple warp point, and then follow the way to 29F.
