Move 3 squares north to find a campfire, so cook some foods when necessary. Move 4 squares west and head north until you find a fishing point, turn back 3 squares south, head east and hug the right wall to harvest a few Forest Wheats, keep hugging the right wall until you need to break a crystal at B7, follow the way to be teleported to C3, open a chest with Nectar II, return to previous zone by activating the crystal from the other side, and then head north and hug the left wall to trigger an event. Two guards can be seen mining crystals at the dead end. The gold-armored guard wants to stop and return, but the silver-armored guard wants to continue deeper. Choose the first option to be on the silver guard's side, then they both will disappear and proceed deeper. You'll meet them again later. Don't agree with the gold-armored guard, as you'll end this event prematurely.

Head 2 squares east to pass through shortcut in the north side, move clockwise to arrive at the north of the crystal to be teleported back near the entrance, then head southwest until you find a chopping point with Quartz Shoot, Shining Bark, and Crystal Tree. Return to the crystal but move clockwise to arrive at its east to be teleported to F1.

Face north and then hug the right wall to find a mining point with Bismuth, Selenite, and Agate, then keep hugging the right wall until you find a door. Don't open it yet, but keep hugging the right wall until you meet with the guards again at F3. At this point they already have collected several valuable minerals. Similar to theirs previous encounter, the gold-armored guard wants to stop and return, but the silver-armored guard wants to continue deeper. Choose the second option to be on the silver guard's side, then they both will disappear and proceed deeper again. Once again don't agree with the gold-armored guard, as you'll end this event prematurely.

Turn back and hug the left wall until you open the door to the next zone, which has 1 Sonar Worm and 1 Raging Tortoise FOEs on the field. Head northwest to strike the crystal once, go back and forth between north and south squares until Raging Tortoise moves to the east after going west, break the crystal, and then move 1 square north and 3 squares east. Once again keep going back and forth between north and south squares until Raging Tortoise moves to the west, and finally break the second crystal and follow the way again to open another door.

This room has 1 Raging Tortoise FOE on the field, and the next room has 1 Hellhound FOE on the field. However, due to the layout of the first room, you won't be able to reach northeast door by normal path. Wait until the FOE has arrived at the dead end in the east, then activate the crystal from its south to be teleported to the second room. Avoid the Hellhound by moving clockwise and then you'll be teleported back to the first room. If done correctly, now Raging Tortoise will be at the west side, and Hellhound will chase you to this room, so you can head east and open the door to the second room while avoiding both FOEs at once.

Head northeast to open another door, head north to open the shortcut on your left side, then come back to the previous zone and hug the left wall to find a taking point with Ooze Mushroom, Igneous Herb, and Crystal Flower. Now keep hugging the right wall to open another door, which is currently leads to an empty room. It'll be filled with FOEs shortly.

Head toward the west of the crystal to be teleported to B5, which has 1 Sonar Worm and 1 Hellhound FOEs on the field. Head 1 square north, 2 squares east, and then keep going back and forth between north and south squares until Hellhound arrives the east of the crystal, which then takes this FOE to the previous room. Now head toward the south of the northwest giant crystal and break it, then move toward the east of the northeast giant crystal and break it as well. If done correctly, Sonar Worm will be teleported to the previous room as well.

Now head northeast and break 3 giant crystals to open the path to the next door. Head north to open the shortcut on your right side, then come back and now hug the left wall until you arrive at the dead end and meet with the guards again. Now they are attacked by monsters and you can choose whether to save the injured silver-armored guard, or fight the monsters to let the gold-armored guard save his friend. Either option will cause you to fight 2 Hammer Saurians and 1 Hypno Bat. Finally this event is completed.

Adventurer's Log

Ore Buds Go Home

Seeing the ore buds under attack from a monster, you helped beat the beast. The two headed home, wiser to Yggdrasil's dangers.

Now head west until you meet the Mysterious Girl again, who informs that the crystal in the south will take you to the dragon's lair. Now is the best time to return to the town before fighting the boss. You also still need to clear the requests.

Interlude

If you still haven't registered all Maps, Monsters, and Items you've found during 4th Stratum, now is the best time. You'll obtain 25000 en after submitting the entire 4th Stratum maps, and 2 Silver Ingots after registering 100 items. Now visit BAR to accept the requests.

Papa Mia!

"I need help from the [insert your guild name]. P-Please go talk some sense into my father!"

Reward: Hamao Prime

Select PATRON and talk to Thadius who tells a brief story about what happens between him, Mia, and her father. Afterward, talk to Mia who says that you need to talk to her father directly. Now talk to Mia's Father who wants Thadius to venture in the Tutelary Forest alone. Talk to Thadius again, and then he'll go to the labyrinth. Finally, talk to Mia again, who wants you to find him in the labyrinth.

Head outside, and then Egar informs that someone has just entered 1F, so follow Thadius there. In this floor you'll see an FOE's mark at C4. Approach it to fight an Owl Beast, which should be a piece of cake at this moment. Some guards sent by Mia then come, treat Thadius' wound, and bring Thadius back to the town. Return to the town and talk to Mia again, who worries about Thadius' condition after she hears the news, and then quickly goes to the clinic. Her father also has returned, so talk to him again. He still doesn't accept Thadius who loses the fight, but he says thanks for saving Thadius, and also for two previous requests made by Thadius and Mia. The reward is increased so you'll obtain 2 Hamao Primes instead.

Upon landing on 19F, this floor is now filled with Saurians. Run around to fight 2 random encounters, then you'll see a valuable crystal rolling on the ground. Select the first option to obtain a Draconic Shard, but then suddenly a monster tries to ambush you. If you have Therian's Brute Strength, this character will intercept the monster before it can deal severe damage. Your character loses 30 HP (Advanced) / 24 HP (Basic), but it's a small price compared with the damage you'll take if you are ambushed. It seems that this monster is the leader which creates the mess on 19F, so you have to fight it. This enemy, known as Saurian Leader, is similar to Hammer Saurian, but it can summon 2 Saurian Bandits and move to the back row at the same time. It also can cast ATK buff. However, the rest of the battle is very similar to Hammer Saurian.

Adventure Result (EXP)AdvancedBasic

  • If you choose to leave the valuable crystal as it is, the Saurian Leader will come and crush it. The jewel is actually a bait used to trap you. Basically you don't get the Draconic Shard but you don't need to have Therian's Brute Strength.

Now select PATRON to see some new faces. Thadius, Mia, and Mia's Father show up to provide further information about the first request. The rest of the patrons just inform some tips which may be useful during your adventure. Now rest at Inn, bring a few healing items, save your progress, then return to 20F.
