After entering the red border, there are some information about Skills. Press the Y button, then select CUSTOM to assign these skill points. I think each party member should learn at least 1 of their Class Skills. Their Race Skills can be ignored until they are required later. Hug the left wall until you find a sealed door which requires certain key. Ignore it for now and head toward the bird tracks in the west. Later, you'll need to examine this place, so remember it. Now head north to find a fishing point. If you bring an Earthlain, you may want to learn their Fishing skill to be able to go fishing and obtain Forest Fish.

Now head east and meet the wandering guard who breeds several chickens. He also provide some information about drawing your own maps. I think it's better if you look into Options and change the Automap setting to Full so that every path and wall will be drawn automatically. However, you still need to put the landmarks manually. The guard leaves 2 important marks on the map which become your current objectives. However, it's better if the whole floor is fully explored while training your characters.

Head south to find a door and open it, then head south to find a mining point. If you bring a Therian, you can learn their Mine skill to be able to gather mining materials. Please note that each gathering spot will have 2 common and 1 rare material, so just hope that you collect all three materials for the sake of completeness. Here I got Mossy Ore here, and I also got Cracked Mudstone and Cloudy Augite thanks to Therian's Mine skill. Keep heading east and you'll find an upstairs to 2F, but you can't proceed forward because you still haven't cleared your current objective. Backtrack to the door and return to the previous zone, then keep hugging the right wall until you find a treasure chest with Power Ring. This accessory provides additional STR booster, so put it on one of your main damage dealers. Head east from here to find another bird tracks, then head north and turn left to find another mining point. This one gave me Cracked Mudstone, and then another Cracked Mudstone and Cloudy Augite. Head north and you have to choose whether you want to use the stick to travel over the mud. Choose the first option to safely run to the other side, otherwise one of your characters will lose some HP.

Adventurer's Log

First Sign of Trouble
By thinking on your toes, you managed to get across a treacherously mucky path without failing in the mud!

Adventure Result (EXP)AdvancedBasic

Thanks to the EXP reward, your party members may gain one level at this point, so assign skill points again when necessary. If all of your characters have learned one of their skills, you may also want to learn Gaia's Grace / Ares' Grace / Lunar Grace / Zephyr's Grace to have a chance of restoring their TP. You can't efficiently restore TP until way later in the game, so Mana Heal Union Skill is probably your main method in healing TP at this point.

Hug the left wall until you find the third bird tracks, then head north and hug the right wall until you arrive at an examinable area. Once again you have to choose whether you want to carefully walk or run hastily. Choose the first option to travel safely, otherwise you'll be ambushed by a Venomous Leech. This enemy is quite hard and may easily incapacitate one of your party members, so avoid the battle while you can. Either choice, you'll obtain Nectar as reward. Nectar can be used to revive a fallen party member, so it's useful when the enemies kill your party member.

Adventurer's Log

Haste Makes Waste

Your wise decision allowed you to traverse the mucky path without getting caked in mud in the process.

Adventure Result (EXP)AdvancedBasic

Keep hugging the right wall and you'll eventually find another examinable area, which now has a turtle that guards a coin. Select any of your backline party members, as they have to take the damage. There are 3 options: "Reach from the right", "Reach from the left", and "Reach straight for it". You have to pick every choice and withstand all damages, then switch to any character, choose "Take a deep breath and calm down.", and finally "Lift the turtle and move it." to obtain Mountain Copper as reward.

Adventurer's Log

Snapping Turtle, Muddy Copper

You found an old-looking coin in the mud. It was guarded by a snapping turtle, but you won and got the copper piece.

Adventure Result (EXP)AdvancedBasic

Now follow the way to the first exclamation mark and examine the object to obtain Great Tree Root. Turn left to find a chest with Nectar, then head back and go west to find another fishing point. Obtain a Forest Fish here, then keep hugging the left wall, open a door, and head west until you find another examinable area. This time is about a backpack. Select the first option to take a closer look, then select the second option to collect 100 en, but then a Wild Dog will approach you. Similar to Venomous Leech, it may incapacitate one of your party members, so hopefully you can defeat the enemy without having any casualties. You have to select the first option before the second option, or else Wild Dog will ambush your party members instead of normal approach.

Adventurer's Log

Lost and Found

Because you were vigilant instead of running to loot, you were ready to stave off a monstrous ambush.

Adventure Result (EXP)AdvancedBasic

At this point, your party members may gain another level, so learn another skill again. Head toward the second exclamation mark to examine the soil. The first option lets you digs safely, but the second option causes enemies' ambush. Either choice, you'll obtain Forest Soil as reward. Now you only need to explore a little bit to complete the required map and then backtrack to the entrance. Remember that you can return instantly by activating Full Retreat Union Skill. If you want to keep going, head east until you find a door to the next zone, then open a chest with Soma. This area has higher chance of spawning Wild Dogs, so proceed as efficient as possible. Leave this zone, then turn left twice to find another examinable object. There are edible berries that restore 5 TP, and they can be eaten as many as you want! So restore all of your party members' TP at this place. Once it's done, keep heading west until you find another examinable object, then choose the first option to obtain 6 Forest Berries.

Adventurer's Log

Berry Good!

During your exploration, you picked berries from the bush at a dead end. They tasted berry good.

Adventure Result (EXP)AdvancedBasic

Since you've restored your party members' TP, you may want to defeat another Wild Dog to collect another Conical Canine to be used later. Now backtrack to the entrance while completing your map. Those berries that you ate before are actually poisonous, so you'll gradually lose HP as you walk from now. However, you can heal HP with items/rations, so it's not a big deal. Quickly run toward the entrance to prevent further HP loses.

Adventurer's Log

Oops! Bad Berries?

The fruits you hastily ate gave you food poisoning... Next time, be careful what you eat in the wild.

Adventure Result (EXP)AdvancedBasic

Now return to the town and save the game at Inn. Your party members will receive EXP rewards after reporting the mission at Council Hall, so you probably want to enter Explorer Guilds to switch to your lower level teams so that they are the ones who receive those EXP. Now head into Council Hall to report the result. Select REPORT, then press the A button to do it, and then give the items (Great Tree Root and Forest Soil) to Ramus, who then gives 500 en as reward.

Mission Completed!

Adventure Result (EXP)AdvancedBasic

Ramus tells that you need to register all things that have been learned and collected during your adventure. Select REGISTRY, then every option: Maps, Monsters, and Items. You'll obtain 4 Mountain Coppers after submitting your first map, but Ramus doesn't give any reward for the other options. Leave this place, and then visit SHOP as Ramus says.

Grand market of Iorys - Iorys Marketplace
Syrik gives a Copper Ingot as reward after finishing your first mission, then explains about forging equipment. You don't have to worry about it for now as the options are still limited. Starting from this point, he also sells Ariadne Thread item, which enables instant warp into the town from anywhere outside of battles. Make sure you always buy at least 1 Ariadne Thread before going outside. Leave this place, and you'll meet a guard who tells that Lord Egar has something to say, so enter GUILD as he says.

Adventurers wanted - Explorers Guild
Egar explains about altering classes, so now every race can change into one of the other classes that aren't their own origins. For instance, any Earthlain classes can switch to Therian's Rover, Brouni's Botanist, etc. Remember that each race has its own specialty stat growth, and some classes may gain more benefits if they are used by another race. Altering class drops the character's level by 5, but your party members should be at level 3 or 4 at this point. Therefore, if you alter some of your party members' classes, you won't lose too much. Personally, I altered all of my party members to test out whether their new classes really have more benefits or not. Once you're done, visit INN to save your progress.

For a good night's rest - Jenetta's Inn
Jenetta congratulates you due to your first completed missions. She also tells that you can start to exchange your Guild Cards to the other players who are playing this game. If you have real-life friends who are also playing this game, let them know about your achievements. You can also lend or borrow any party members through GUILD CARD option, so keep that in your mind. Save your game, then visit BAR

Best drinks in town - Twilight Tavern
Since you've completed your first objective, Mirina will explain about requests, which are similar to optional missions. Requests may be various such as gathering materials or defeating certain enemies. Of course, clearing requests will give rewards (and a lot of EXP reward), so clear them as soon as you can. If you select QUEST, there should be 3 available quests at this point.

Request from a Craftsman

This request from one of the city's craftsmen calls for one Cracked Mudstone for crafting.

Reward: Analysis Scope X2

You should have farmed one Cracked Mudstone from one of the mining points during your previous adventure, so this request can be cleared immediately.

Adventure Result (EXP)AdvancedBasic

Let Them Eat Acorns

This request from a restaurant calls for three Hard Cupules to use for their cakes.

Reward: Therica A x2, Therica B x2

Hard Cupules can be farmed by defeating Rabid Acorns during your previous journey. You should have more than 3 Hard Cupules at this point, so this request also can be cleared immediately.

Adventure Result (EXP)AdvancedBasic

Prepare for Adventure!

This request from Syrik calls for a set of materials needed to make a new weapon.

Reward: Madfa

After accepting this request, head into SHOP and talk to Syrik who explains that he needs 2 Conical Canines, obtained after defeating Wild Dogs. You should have defeated a Wild Dog when examining a backpack during your previous adventure, so you need to defeat another one to collect the second item. Now sell both items to him, then head back to BAR to report the result.

Adventure Result (EXP)AdvancedBasic

Thanks to these 3 EXP rewards, my party members, who previously had returned to level 1 after having switched classes, could reach level 3. However, I still had to learn their skills again from scratch. While in this topic, make sure that one of your Brounis learns Animal Care, as it will be required shortly.

There are no more requests at this point, so leave it as that. While in this place, you can also select PATRONS and gather information from each of the NPCs here. The first person in the list introduces himself as Dale, who sells a set of Forest Berries for a certain price. The second person in the list introduces himself as Conissa, who also acts as tutorial book for the player. As first time player, you may want to learn the basics here. The rest of the patrons just inform some tips which may be useful during your adventure.

More requests will be unlocked after venturing deeper into Tutelary Forest, so you'll need to do that. However, you may want to sell some loot at the SHOP, as Syrik may unlock some better equipment. I think it's better if you fill your equipment slots by buying the cheapest accessories. However, you shouldn't buy any green-icon weapons; it's better if you wait until you can buy blue-icon weapons as they can be forged later. If you bring a Dragoon or Warlock, you can also equip Madfa that you've just obtained before.

Once you've done, save your game at Inn (don't rest yet), then head back to Tutelary Forest. Head toward the place where you met the guard before, and now he asks your help to gather his chickens. This is where Animal Care is required to catch the chickens. If you have marked the bird tracks during your previous journey, now revisit all of them to catch the chickens, then head back to the guard to return them. He says thanks by giving one of them, Forest Hen, as reward, then tells that it's better to leave them in your inventory, so do as he says. Jenetta will take care of your chicken, and every few days you'll collect a few Eggs when visiting Inn. Now rest and save your game.

Head back to Tutelary Forest, then keep going southeast until you find the upstairs to 2F.
