4th Stratum

19F - A Mysterious Stranger

You probably don't need to rest at Inn since there is an event which recovers most of your TP later.

The map may look confusing, but it's not. In fact, if you follow the direct path correctly, you may only need to trigger 4 or 5 random encounters. Similar to previous floor, I also put some bricks to avoid unwanted teleportation.

Remember, the difficulty can be changed anytime when you're in town.

Head northwest to find a giant crystal on your left side and Forest Wheats harvest point on your right side. Actually you can also find an impassable crevice in the northwest of the crystal's position, but you can't do anything about it. Backtrack and hug the left wall until you open the door to the next area. This room has an FOE, Hellhound, on the field, and it can pursue you by also activating the teleport crystal, so remember about this behavior.

Anyway, head 2 squares north to be teleported to D7, then hug the right wall to open a chest with 13000 en. If done correctly, you'll have 2 spaces from the FOE. When you return, you'll engage the battle against this creature. Try to bind its head while escaping at the same time. Now hug the right wall to be teleported back to D4, then head north to open another door. If you move east before heading north, the FOE will be teleported back to D7, but its position doesn't really matter for the rest of this floor.

Head northwest to open another door, then head straight north to be teleported to A7. Another FOE shows up on the field, so head south-east-east-north to be back at A4, and then head south-west-west-north to return at A7. Since the FOE always chases you, it'll always behind you, so you can head south to open another door. Now hug the right wall to trigger an event. You'll meet Conrad again who wants to rest for a little bit, and he asks you to watch over the surrounding while he sleeps. Select the first option to accompany him, then you'll fall asleep as well since no enemies are detected. The clock advances 6 hours, and you'll recover 230 HP and TP. Don't choose the second option as you'll miss the chance to clear this event.

Adventurer's Log

Stray Adventurer

You find an exhausted adventurer in the labyrinth, so you rested alongside them to keep them safe from any monsters.

Adventure Result (EXP)AdvancedBasic

Hug the right wall until you find a door but don't open it because it only leads to an empty room. Head north from here to be teleported to E6, then hug the left wall until you open another door. This is a big room with one teleport crystal in the middle, so approach it from its north to be teleported to D5, and this zone has 2 FOEs on the field. Head 2 squares north to shorten your distance with them, then turn back and approach the crystal from its south to be teleported back at A5, the big room. Approach the crystal from its north to be back at D5, then head northeast to find a door. Remember that both FOEs will always behind you, so don't make any mistake.

This small room has only one teleport crystal, so move east to be teleported to D6, head east-south to open the shortcut, then come back and head 1 square north, 2 squares west, and 4 squares south to trigger a quake. It's probably connected with the Crystal Dragon, your mission's objective. Once it's stopped, hug the left wall until you arrive at the dead end to trigger another event, which requires Celestrian's Night Vision to be cleared. You also obtain 3 Dragon Crystals as reward.

Adventurer's Log

Hole of Darkness

You found a small hole in a wall, and using Night Vision managed to safely obtain Dragon Crystals from within.

Adventure Result (EXP)AdvancedBasic

Head straight west to be teleported 2 squares west of this crystal's position, move 2 squares south and then hug the left wall until you arrive at E6 and activate the crystal from its west to be teleported to E5, and then open the chest with Silver Ingot.

Your journey is actually completed here. The last thing you need to do is to find the upstairs to 20F, which is located on the southeast side. However, from the chest's position, you have to move east, which teleports your party members back at B6. You have to redo the process again, and those can be done during your next journey. If you have no inventory space left, you can go back now, otherwise you can continue.

As I said before, move east to be teleported to B6, reenter the big room, lure 2 FOES to chase directly behind you, enter the adjacent room, and then teleport again to D6. Follow the path carefully to the west of the second event's location to be teleported 2 squares west from the crystal's position, but now head 2 squares south, 2 squares west, and 2 squares north, and you'll be teleported to F7. Hug the left wall to open the shortcut in the north, then come back and head southeast to find the upstairs. However, it's better to return to the town to deal with requests as usual.

Reptoid Rumble

"I was attacked by reptoids in the southwest of 18F, so now I want payback for losing my materials!"

Reward: Heavenly Gift x3

Saurian Bandit

Saurian Looter

WeaknessCut, Stun, Leg Bind
ResistStab, Petrification, Sleep, Panic, Paralysis,
Arm Bind

This request only appears if you have checked the three-way holes at D3 and E3 in 18F. Now you need to check both holes, then you need to choose at which hole they'll attack you. When you arrive at D3, choose the middle hole to intercept 2 Saurian Looters, or else you'll be ambushed by them. When you arrive at E3, choose the right hole to intercept 2 Saurian Bandits, or else you'll be ambushed by them. Whether you are ambushed or not, simply defeat all of them to clear the request.

Council Request II

"The Arcania Council hereby summons the [insert your guild name] to the Council Hall"

Reward: Medica IV x2

Head toward Council Hall, then Ramus tells that he wants to find a hidden item, namely Old Book, in 2nd Stratum. It's located on 7F, accessible by the Master Key. If you have obtained this item while venturing through the hidden area before, this request can be cleared immediately.

Adventure Result (EXP)AdvancedBasic

Now select PATRON to see some new faces. However, the rest of the patrons just inform some tips which may be useful during your adventure. Don't forget that you can now clear Sparkle and Shine request since all of the available loot can be collected at this moment. Now save your progress and climb the upstairs to 20F.
