3rd Stratum

14F - An Executioner's Axe

Before arriving at this floor, if you travel during the daylight, you may want to bring a few Guard Soles / activate Warlock's Levitation skill to prevent tile damages. Guard Soles are buyable at the shop for each Floating Cranium, dropped by Cracked Skull, a common enemy in 3rd Stratum.

Remember, the difficulty can be changed anytime when you're in town.

Move 1 square forward to find a message written in red blood, then, if you face north, you'll also find an impassable crevice here. Leave it for now and hug the right wall until you find a fishing point, head southeast to find another impassable crevice, turn back and hug the left wall until you find a taking point with Bane Weed, Zombie Shroom, and Mist Blossom, and then follow the way southeast until you arrive at the dead end. In order to clear this event, you need a Drinking Horn that you've obtained in 11F. Simply choose the first option to obtain Darkness Scythe as reward.

Adventurer's Log

Horn of Plenty

By placing a drinking horn in a stone monument's depression, you solved the horn puzzle and acquired a blood-red scythe.

Turn back and hug the left wall all the way until you find another door to a small room where you can meet Conrad in the middle of the room. He is willing to trade your Mandrapotatoes with Forest Wheats. Mandrapotatoes are only useful for making Traveler's Stews, but you also need some Milks as the other ingredients. If you don't have any Milks, you may want to trade all of your Mandrapotatoes here. He'll disappear after the trading process, so this is your only chance. If you don't have Mandrapotato, you can read the following sentence to get it. Now head north until you arrive at A3, then hug the right wall to harvest a few Mandrapotatoes. Turn back and hug the right wall again to open the shortcut on your right side, then keep hugging the right wall until you arrive at the dead end to trigger the second event. This event will skip some hours, so if the clock turns the day into night, you may want to read ahead to grab the upcoming chest before triggering this event.

This place acts as a resting spot which recovers 64 HP (Advanced) / 80 HP (Basic) and 40 TP (Advanced) / 50 TP (Basic) to all party members. In order to clear the event, you have to rest at this place by choosing the first option. The clock advances 2 hours, but then you'll need to fight 2 Zombie Mutts. Afterward, another choice appears whether you want to continue your rest or not. Once again you need to choose the first option to get the best result. However, your HP and TP aren't restored this time, the clock advances 1 hour, and you'll need to fight 1 Grand Spriggan. Afterward, the third choice appears whether you want to continue the rest or not. Similar to the previous decision, your HP and TP aren't restored this time, the clock advances 1 hour, and you'll need to fight 2 Flame Temptresses. Afterward, the last choice appears whether you want to continue the rest or not. By choosing the first option, the clock advances 1 hour again, but now your party members' HP are restored by 125 (Advanced) / 150 (Basic) and theirs TP are restored by 80 (Advanced) / 100 (Basic). You also obtain 8 Celestial Silvers as reward.

Adventurer's Log

Deadly in-Tent

Your rest in an old tent was disrupted by monsters, though you managed to stave off the ambush and take a nice nap.

Adventure Result (EXP)AdvancedBasic

Hug the right wall until you open a door to the next zone. A new FOE, Headless Hunter, shows up on the field. This creature stays idle until you move 3 squares away from its position, at which point it'll be alerted and chase you. Similar to Roaming Wraith, this FOE also is smart enough to avoid the light. If you manage to step onto the light square and it can't find a way to chase you, it'll stay idle. It's also burned instantly when it travels on the light square when morning comes.

Your first objective is to open the chest with Skull Helm in the southeast area. However, it can only be collected during the daylight, as the light squares will hinder the FOE's movements toward you. In the evening, I still can't find a way to avoid the FOE. Once you've opened the chest, head west to find a door, then continue to open another door to the next zone where another FOE shows up on the field. Your objective is to proceed to the southeast door, and it's quite easy during the daylight. Or else you have to lure it and exit at the northeast door, then reenter through northwest door and hug the right wall until you reach your destination.

Once you've entered the next zone, hug the left wall to find another taking point with Bane Weed, Zombie Shroom, and Mist Blossom, keep hugging the left wall to find an impassable crevice on your left side, head straight west to open the shortcut, and examine the door in the south. Another message written with red blood is seen on the door, and for somewhat reason you can't proceed forward. You have to return to the town.

Solor arrives at the town and then asks you about Lili's whereabouts. It seems that she's missing. Now visit INN, SHOP, BAR, and GUILD to find that everyone is also trying to find her in their own way. Finally head into Council Hall and Ramus has a new mission for you. He tells more about Solor and Lili's contributions toward Council, and now, when Lili's missing, the Council decides to repay the debt by saving her. Accept the mission and then head into BAR. Since you have landed your foot on 14F, one new request has appeared.

Grocery Shopping III

"I messed up again, but that won't get me down! Bring me the ingredients I need for a new dish!"

Reward: Haste Pin

The chef needs 3 Tough Membranes, obtained by defeating Zombie Squirrel in 14F, and 3 Zombie Shrooms, farmed at any taking point in 14F. If you've already farmed this item during your previous adventure, this request can be cleared immediately.

Adventure Result (EXP)AdvancedBasic

Now select PATRON to see some new faces. Some patrons also say something about Lili, but they can't find her either. The rest of the patrons just inform some tips which may be useful during your adventure. Now save your progress before taking the mission.

Help Solor and Lili

Solor's adventuring partner, Lili, has gone missing. The city owes them both a great debt. Please help Solor find Lili and help the pair in any way you can.

Once you're ready, return to 14F, hug the left wall until you go through the shortcut, and then open the south door.

14F - An Executioner's Axe (continue)

There are 2 Headless Hunter FOEs on the field. Your objective is to approach the southeast door, but it won't be easy. Traveling during the daylight is easier, but it's quite hard in the evening. Since the necessary path is quite difficult to be explained by words, it's better to be drawn.

Upon entering the next zone, you'll find another message again, and then you have to fight 2 Zombie Squirrels and 1 Flame Temptress. The boss of 3rd Stratum finally shows up in the form of voice, ordering to leave this place now. Whatever. Now simply head straight north to 15F, but don't forget to open the northern shortcut beforehand.
