1. Weapons, Synthesis and Unlocking
====================================
        In Azure Striker Gunvolt, players unlock new weapons in a strict order
as they play through the main 6 stages of the game. Contact lenses, Rings and
Pendants, however, are mainly unlocked through crafting items you don't already
own, though some are obtained through other means.

        For example, a new game will only have the Osmotic Eye available as a
contact lens. By synthesizing the Osmotic Eye more contact lenses become
available. Synthesizing enhanced (+) versions of the equipment however does
not unlock new items to synth.




1.1 Weapons

Cerberus

        This is the default weapon when you start a game.

Naga
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
        Obtained by defeating 1 of the main 6 bosses. It allows more tags than
the Cerberus and can be charged to hit through objects and shields, but lacks
auto-fire.

Mizuchi
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
        Obtained by defeating 3 of the main 6 bosses. This weapon is mainly
used to uncover hidden "characters" throughout 7 stages.

"Redirectable five ways. Charge to extend redirect point. Allows 1 tag."

Technos
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
        Obtained by defeating 4 of the main 6 bosses. Two tags are shot at 45
degrees from the gun. Once they make contact with the floor or ceiling they'll
follow it untill it hits a wall or an enemy. Not very useful as with two tags
the most you can get is doubles. Has auto-fire capability.

"Fires two-way terrain crawlers. Allows up to 2 tags."

Orochi
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
        Obtained by defeating 6 of the main 6 bosses. When fired, a satellite
appears above and behind Gunvolt which then fires in an upwards arc, starting
from the direction you're facing and ending behind. If Gunvolt is in the air
when the satellite is deployed, it will still be shot above and behind him,
however the shots will arc downwards from front to back. The satellite stays
stationary if you move from the original fired position.

Vasuki
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
        Obtained by defeating the final boss in stage Firmament. If there are
multiple enemies on screen, once the bullet hits the first, after a small pause
it will bounce until its connected with all enemies on screen. Has auto-fire
capability.

"Homes in on additional targets if it hits its mark. Allows up to 4 tags."

Dullahan

        Obtained by clearing all of the Gauntlet stages unlocked after
obtaining the True Ending. Can't tag however does a lot of damage. The game
plays like a Megaman game with it equipped. Has auto-fire capability.

1.2 Contact Lenses

        Unlike other pieces of gear, Gunvolt can wear two contact lenses. It is
possible to equip two of the same lens to get double its effect, like two
Dynamo Eye+ to get an additional 300 EP.

obtaining one will give it to her with some dialogue. Once all 7 are collected,
she will give you this pendant. Equip while playing the stage Firmament to
obtain the True Ending.

        The following pendants are unlocked by locking in a Kudos value of 3000
or higher in their respective stages. To "lock in" the value you either have to
touch a check point or use an offensive skill. Completing the stage without
doing either will not net you the ability to synthesize this pendant.
        The pendants will change the song that plays when you get 1000 Kudos or
more to the song in the description. It only works when you first score higher
than 1000 for that stage. Changing pendants after will not change the song that
is playing.

2. Materials
====================================
        When you complete a stage, you're given the chance to select some items
from a bonus game. The items are random and the number you can pick depends on
your rank and how many medals you collected throughout the stage. Each medal is
worth one additional try. The number of tries you get from each rank are:
        
        C Rank:   2 tries
        B Rank:   3 tries
        A Rank:   5 tries
        S Rank:   7 tries
        S+ Rank: 10 tries




2.1 Materials by Rarity

        All of the common, 1 star common and 2 star common materials can be
obtained from any stage. 3 star rare and Very Rare materials are exclusive to
certain stages. The easiest way to obtain many common/1/2 star materials is to
run Urban Run over and over, as it is the shortest stage.
